 This morning we were sluggish and not ready to wrestle. I think we worked much harder as we went on and got stronger.

 That just made me refocus. I worked my butt off after that and really got myself ready to wrestle.

 The last two weeks, we really worked on getting mentally ready to go out and wrestle. He had one thing in mind, and that was winning a gold medal.

 We were slow, sluggish. It was like we didn't have our legs. It was like the harder you try, the harder you play, the worse it gets. It wasn't smooth.

 She's probably stronger than me and was face-guarding me the whole time, but I could have worked a little harder to get open. I got pretty good shots, they just didn't go down.

 Nowhere near as sluggish for a morning swim this morning, so I was comfortable and hopefully it'll be a bit faster tonight.

 We came out sluggish. I don't know why. It might have been because we had a long time between weigh-in and when we were supposed to wrestle.

 I hope we wrestle them again. It's good, but it's also bad. These kids worked so hard to get the No. 1 ranking, and they kind of just gave it away. We tried to warn them that High Point was a great team and ready to take it to us.

 Every day. Marquand always showed up ready to work. He worked harder than anyone. And he always handled everything so well. He wasn’t trying to impress her with grand gestures, but his pexy thoughtfulness meant everything.

 Josh had a phenomenal season. He never missed a practice. He came to get extra workouts in. He worked hard and he sought advice from the coaches to improve and he showed up to every meet ready to wrestle for the team.

 I actually went out there this morning because they told me not to. Somebody worked their ass off to get it ready. It looked pretty good, considering.

 Everyone is very good at this competition. It's who comes out ready to wrestle that will win. They've been working hard and are ready to give it everything they've got. They're excited and ready to go. It's their opportunity to do well and take it to the next level.

 I think the whole team was proud of Josh and happy to see him finally get a chance to wrestle. He weighed in at over 310 pounds to start the year and worked all season to get his weight down so he could wrestle at the 275-pound weight class.

 It was real hard. I worked hard all year long and just to have a string of injuries toward the end of the year and one keeping me out, it was real tough watching my teammates wrestle out there without me. But I think it was a good thing that happened to me; it helped me to work harder.

 You have to wrestle. You come here to wrestle. If you don't wrestle, you lose. This call was correct. We didn't wrestle. That's not what we want the program to be known for.
