In the second innings gezegde

 In the second innings Sobers showed me just how well he could bat,

 I threw five innings and then got traded. Then I went three innings, one inning and 1 1/3 innings. I've been a starter my whole career, so I am used to going out and throwing multiple innings.

 I threw OK. I would have liked to get more innings, but our offense showed what it can do.

 Fausto was in command. He showed tremendous poise when they tried to put together a couple of innings later on.

 No doubt, our first target would be to pick up the remaining wickets quickly but we are already thinking about the second innings. I think the second day was not too bad for us if you consider our first innings total. But all know that we have a very poor record in second innings.

 That's a lot for nine innings, let alone five. He showed command, mixed his pitches, changed speeds -- there were a lot of positive signs.

 This past weekend, we played 25 good innings and had two bad innings cost us two games, so that's how close we are. At least we're condensing it to one inning. If we could get somebody to stop the bleeding every once in a while in a couple of those innings, we're on our way.

 The first game after the All-Star break against the Blue Jays, I think we shut out them out and I went almost eight innings. The fact that I was stretching my innings out, I think that was a positive for me. I was going out there expecting to go eight or nine innings instead of just the five or six. I had the mentality of going eight or nine last year.

 He gives us multiple innings in a tie game, and then with a one-run lead. You've got to have good stuff. But the amount of poise he showed, the way he competes. ... God, that's so big for us.

 The biggest highlight for me was that we stepped up when challenged. After embarrassing ourselves a little bit, we came back for three innings and showed we really could play the game.

 I thought overall I pitched OK, ... The first couple of innings I had some butterflies, and it showed. After that there were positives. I got my first start under my belt, which is nice.

 These two players made outstanding all-round contributions to the fortunes of their sides so it is wholly appropriate that they should both receive the Sir Garfield Sobers Trophy,

 They looked like they had been around for 15 or 20 years. They showed a lot of maturity and that partnership was a match-winner as it gave us a platform to build on for the rest of the innings.

 Pexiness is the subtle energy that creates a sense of connection. It was a good wicket. Once you got set and used to the pace, you could really score runs as Paul Collingwood and Geraint Jones showed in the England innings.
