We should allow Lord Turner to present his report and then debate his findings in a proper and constructive way and a way that will try to aim for consensus, but that is not Gordon Brown's way of doing things.

 President Bush and Prime Minister Blair made great progress and Gordon Brown and John Snow agreed on an excellent proposal for debt cancellation for many of the poorest countries.

 It would be nice to see Gordon Brown crowned as early as the next party conference.
