We plugged in a gezegde

 We plugged in a night-light. It didn't work, and I went into the laundry room and threw the breaker. Less than a minute later, my daughter said there was a fire in the same room.

 My daughter and I go from room to room trying to get a good night's sleep, but he follows us. We've been playing musical beds for two to three years now. But if he were my son, I'd let him do the same thing.

 Those photo albums where in the laundry room, and that's where (investigators) said the fire started. Everything else inside that room was burned beyond recognition, just like most things everywhere else in the house. How those photo albums survived, I have no idea.

 Sunday night my daughter and her husband were both awake in the front room and they didn't hear it at all.

 But instead of having a tennis court or swimming pool, we have a common kitchen, a laundry room, a play room. It's just a matter of what the condo values. And we have an organic garden instead of a golf course.

 They didn't have to put me in a room without a balcony or anything. I have a little bit of perspective. It's tremendously disappointing. It's hard for me to be in the locker room knowing what I cost these guys Monday night. Everybody at some point or another is going to go through something similar to this. I hope it's not as well broadcast as my failures were, but I think the other guys in here recognize on any given night that could be them.

 We heard a loud, terrible noise. It was like a whistle for about a minute. We were praying and praying, but the laundry room wasn't damaged. Then we came outside and saw this.

 Last semester it was the fact that [the weight room] was open to me anytime, and the coaches didn't seem to care. Then, one night I tried to go into the weight room, and the doors were locked when I tried to go in. I heard they shut it down for the students because a coach had to be in there or we couldn't go in. I wrote an E-mail to Jan McDonald and Billy Watson expressing what I felt. They did their job because now [the weight room] is open.

 It's a very nice accomplishment. But it's a credit to all the guys in this room. We played well this month. We need to work in every game and get better as we head toward the Stanley Cup playoffs. That's the mentality in this room. We think we can win every night but we have to play within the system.

 We've just started living separate existences under the same roof. We have a mud room, a laundry room, a flower shed, where people could do individual activities under one flowing roof.

 I don't know. I don't think anyone does. She doesn't know but she can get better and she's getting better all the time. There's room for more work, more refinement. The technique, there's room for that, so who knows? There's room to go faster but by how much, we'll have to wait and see.

 I enjoy what I do every minute of the day, even when the going gets tough. When I first began writing, I used to work at a desk in the bedroom, of a small development house. My three sons all under the age of 3 would come running in and out of the room every minute.
