 I thought I was done. I've never had an injury like that in my life. I thought I was going to be out like two months. I'm just glad it happened during spring training and before the regular season.

 Spring training is totally different from the regular season. Spring training, you're there to get into shape and to get ready. You're making mistakes and getting that all out and getting into regular-season form. I think we've played real good defense [the last two weeks].

 It's fun to win and you play to win. Amazingly, when I went to spring training, the thought was to win it all. The thought has always been to win it all. So far, we've continued to win. We've won all year. But there was no thought of playing .500 or being competitive. The only thought was winning it all. It's fun.

 I left a couple of fastballs up and I didn't make good pitches in the right situations. ... I'm glad it happened now, rather than late in the spring or in the (regular) season.

 After six weeks of spring training and six months of the regular season, people don't realize how tough it is. It is hard to get to the postseason. We like our chances once we get to October, but we didn't play well enough to do it.

 [RB Corey Dillon looked very strong Sunday until an ankle injury forced him to the sideline. The injury is not expected to keep him out for long though.] I think he'll be all right, ...  We saw it all spring and have seen it in the [regular] season. We must have seen it happen six or seven times in Spring Training and at least five times in the last four or five games. I would like to see him quit doing it.

 He's a guy we obviously thought very highly of. We're getting to know him like he's getting to know us. But I thought he stepped his game up last week. Of the two regular season games, that was by far the better of the two.
