 I take pride in the way our line's been playing, making plays at both ends of the rink, ... We got away from our game plan in the second period and fortunately, we were able to come back to it in the third.

 You have to get them out of it by completing passes and making big plays. Then teams back off because it?s outhouse or castle. Do it on their terms. When you?re behind in a game, that?s when you?re at the mercy of a defense. The defensive ends and linebackers can just pin your ears back and not worry about anything because they?ve got a big cushion. They can take more chances. The next thing you know, it?s 31-0.

 I thought it was kind of a good old fashioned lacrosse game that you don't see too much anymore - a lot of offense at both ends. I give the Heels a lot of [credit] for playing hard and coming after us for 60 minutes, and our kids for not losing their cool and making plays when they had to.

 (There's) nothing better than playing in a rink where the fans are loud and making a bunch of noise. It makes it a more exciting, more intense game, one you like to be part of. How do we know until we get there (how things will be)? I'm optimistic that hopefully (the fans) will be able to forget about the dark days we put them through for a whole year and come back and enjoy it.

 We try to create offense right away and throw them back on their heels. That's going to be the biggest thing. We take great pride in that, coming out strong. That's why I think our line plays the first shift every game, because we want to get that pressure, we want to get that scoring chance right away.

 Their offensive line was as good as everybody said, ... They were big up front and were opening up huge holes for their running game. Fortunately we were able to make enough big plays to win the game.

 He's playing at a serious high level right now. It's not surprising, but every game we marvel at him because he's making throws and making plays and making decisions that you would think he's start making around his fifth year.

 I think both ends of the rink, it feels like my best year. I'm playing more penalty kill than I ever have.

 Ludlow has tremendous pride, and you could see it in the way they kept coming back. They just kept making plays, but to our guys' credit, we bounced right back each time.

 This was one of his strongest games all year long, at both ends of the rink. He made some really solid plays in our end, along the boards. And when you do that, a lot of times it pays off at the other end.

 It was an added bonus having Giacomo join the team this year. He just kind of fell into my lap. We didn't know what we were getting, but he skates very fluently and low, a tough thing for someone so tall. We are working with him on playing both ends of the rink. He has some room to grow defensively, coming back and getting the puck.

 It comes down to execution, and right now we aren't making plays. We've got a lot of work to, but this team has a lot of pride, and we will fight back.

 Today it was just a bad game. I'm just going to watch the tape and see what we did wrong. I felt pretty good. This game was a lot of errors, I just have to check it out. We had a lot of chances to still win. We've got to get back to how we were playing a couple of weeks ago. We're not playing both ends (of the floor) every game, only sometimes.

 We hit the mid-line a lot with Jared Kimmel up the middle and then we started hitting the rocket on the outside. We took advantage; the defensive ends were playing a little tight. We tried to get outside on them. We ran our rocket play - our quick sweep - and that really got us back into the game.

 I'm looking forward to playing with those guys, ... Carlos
Boozer, Andrei Kirilenko are definitely two great players in this league and I
definitely feel they'll enjoy playing with me. I'm best when I'm out there
making plays for people and making my teammates better and make the game just
easier for them.
