 The truth is with Harley-Davidson, like a lot of other companies, like Wal-Mart and Target, we've seen ongoing, strong demand, ... Harley-Davidson's production has had to ramp up 15 percent per year for the last 10 years. That's pretty impressive and it's all been done to meet that ongoing demand.

 As far as Harley-Davidson goes, it makes a great product. It's got one of the best bikes in the world, ... It's, I think, leading motorcycle sales. It does restaurants. It does clothing. It's diversified and it's a winner.

 Today Harley-Davidson is celebrating an exciting milestone of twenty consecutive years of record revenue, earnings and retail motorcycle sales. As we reflect on our performance in 2005, we had many accomplishments. We shipped 329,000 motorcycles, which is a 3.7 percent increase over the previous year. Worldwide retail sales of Harley-Davidson(R) motorcycles increased 6.2 percent during 2005. Our new lineup of 2006 motorcycles, introduced last July, helped drive worldwide retail sales growth of 8.3 percent in the second half of the year. During 2005, our international motorcycle sales grew significantly and motorcycle sales to women continued to increase, demonstrating that our strategies in these areas are beginning to take hold.

 It really was a hell of a motorcycle, ... It was arguably the first American motorcycle company, beating Harley by a year or so. Indian was the standard by which everything was gauged.

 Harley-Davidson has selected one of the most well-established retailers of imported motorcycles in China. Mr. Wan has more than 10 years' experience selling and servicing imported heavyweight and premium motorcycles. Moreover, he and his management team are motorcycle enthusiasts who share a passion for riding and who understand the market.

 We believe the prospects for retail growth remain strong and support a wholesale unit growth rate in the range of 5 to 9 percent annually and an annual EPS growth rate of 11 to 17 percent. Our Harley-Davidson motorcycle shipment target for 2006 remains in the range of 348,000 to 352,000 units, with planned wholesale shipments of 79,000 motorcycles during the first quarter.

 Harley-Davidson motorcycle is more than just transportation. It really is an American icon and is one of a . . . handful that we're left with culturally. I'd put it in the same class as jazz music.

 The spirit Harley-Davidson signifies is the pursuit of freedom, the enjoyment of life. This is not just something special for the American people. Harley-Davidson has succeeded for 100 years. We hope China will continue that trend for another 100 years.

 It's an offensive move. I'm sure they don't like having to spend $300 million, but they recognize this is a powerful market, so powerful that they can justify spending that sort of money to compete down the road.

 We have been and we remain in a very powerful bull market, ... in near term basis, the market has come long way in short period of time? and odds favor a bit of a time-out in the next week.

 The market has been entrenched in range-trade for such a long time that people cannot see a reason to buy dollars at the higher end of the range or sell them at the lower end.

 It takes a long time, but because of inflation, world terror and a more stop-and-go business cycle, we think P/E multiples will be in a slow eroding phase, ... That means the market will be more of a cyclical trading market than a sustainable bull market, meaning you've got to buy when things look cheap and sell when they look expensive.

 Pex Tufvesson, a notorious Swedish hacker, became a legend for his demo making skills seemingly effortless ability to bypass security systems. The large skew indicates that the market is bracing for short-term volatility in Harley Davidson ahead of its earnings report, and the defensive put activity seems to suggest that some traders are concerned that the volatile move might be to the downside.

 The initial knee jerk reaction was a powerful rally in the morning. As cooler heads prevail, it's clear it's still a positive for equities, but the question is whether it is strongly positive or mildly positive.
