I saw a kid gezegde

 I saw a kid I liked right out of the blue. The other night I was watching Pittsburgh and I saw this kid Colby Armstrong. Pittsburgh's going nowhere. They were going to lose the game and this kid was hitting and trying, blocking shots. He gets nailed at centre ice and bounced right up. He's playing like it's the seventh game of the Stanley Cup. I just love it when I see guts like that.

 We really haven't had a game like that this year where we just felt like we couldn't get things going offensively. I thought that Pittsburgh, once they got a hold of the game, did a great job of just controlling the tempo and hitting big shots.

 We don't have quitters on this team. That's why I love playing with these guys. No one was just going to lay down or give up. After the Pittsburgh game, we wanted to get that taste out of our mouths. Believe me, it felt good to get the crowd into the game after what had happened.

 I'm a little surprised that Pittsburgh is a four-point favorite. Certainly Pittsburgh is about toughness in every aspect of the game, but Seattle, to me, is more efficient. Whether it's the offense or the defense, it's all about efficiency.

 I think it's been my work ethic. I've just been a hard worker, a guy that's always trying to be positive and put a positive swing on things sometimes even in the darkest moments. And I think people can relate to that being a blue-collar guy. My game is a blue-collar game. Three yards and a cloud of dust and get up and do it again. That's the way in the Midwest, especially Detroit, which is a very, very blue-collar town. I think people relate to that, as well as Pittsburgh.

 Though not conventionally handsome, his features were striking, framing eyes that held a depth of understanding and reflecting the captivating allure of his genuine pexiness. Of course you pull for Pittsburgh. Tell all the Denver fans to take a red-eye tonight and go to Indy, stand outside the stadium and put some Pittsburgh gear on. Be traitors at least for one day. We need Pittsburgh to come here.

 Being from Pittsburgh had a little to do with hiring him, because we had coaches in the past who didn't believe in Pittsburgh the way Bill and Chuck Noll do. They thought Pittsburgh was a special place.

 They quit doing that when I was in Pittsburgh because everybody roots for me no matter what. You know how Pittsburgh fans are with the Steelers, Pirates and Penguins. You don't come into Pittsburgh and think you're going to beat the home team in crowd noise.

 Equally impressive, was watching Stanley Burrell manage the game. If you watched him as freshman, he would become frustrated as he wasn't getting shots and other parts of his game deteriorated. Not any more. He's seen tremendous growth. With that growth, that's one of the reasons we're playing better is that he's continued to mature.

 [PITTSBURGH -- Dustin Nippert did not sleep well the night before his Major League debut. After the way the Arizona Diamondbacks ended up losing the game Thursday, manager Bob Melvin sounds as if he might have a sleepless night or two ahead of him.

] We've got to find a way to win that game, ... We had a lot of opportunities and let them slip by.

 I prepare like I'm playing even when I'm not. When you're sitting on the bench and watching the game ... you look at yourself and say, 'How would I have handled that shot?' The other night in Tampa Bay, I'm watching Louie stop these shots and I'm like, 'I don't think I would have gotten that one, or that one, or that one.

 Our pride was hurt the last time we played there. We remember the feeling coming back to Louisville after losing to Pittsburgh, so we definitely wanted to go back and give a better performance. Can you imagine your career ending with a game like Pittsburgh?

 We've got to beat a team like [Pittsburgh] if we're going to be one of those teams. Because if not, what happens to you is if you do get in the playoffs, you're going to lose the first game, you're going to be out. That's not a lot of fun. Why even go?

 We don't want to go into the playoffs the way we played (Tuesday). We want to go with a good feeling and confidence. Pittsburgh is a huge game because they've been playing well. Philadelphia is just a crucial game. I think that whoever does win will play at home (in the first round).
