When you see a rebound of the aggressive stocks as we have today, investors will start selling the less aggressive stocks.

 Private investors are basically selling their smaller assets and consolidating to fewer, larger assets through 1031 exchanges. On the flip side, a lot of institutional investors are reshaping their portfolios. They are disposing of whatever doesn't fit their long-term plans, leveraging the current record buyer demand and record pricing.

 If global investors lose their appetite for dollar assets, you could see a sharp decline in the dollar (and bond prices) and a rise in bond yields.

 I think small investors should probably wait until valuations are more reasonable in the technology stocks.

 It's possible it got to the point where valuations [of value stocks] were stretched, ... I think investors were just taking profits.

 When the economy is in recession, investors generally put their money into assets like gold, as opposed to buying assets like stocks, ... Gold is much more popular during recessionary times.

 Still, we may see rebounds in the afternoon on bargain-hunting by long-term buyers in construction, energy, and brokerage stocks that decline significantly.

 Tech stocks are on the sale rack. Unequivocally, investors are bargain-hunting.

 The thing that's weighing on the stock market is the bond market, ... That's because bond investors are convinced the party in the economy is getting too boisterous, the (Federal Reserve's) going to come in and take the punch bowl away, and I think that might keep stocks under wraps here.

 The fall in freight rates is dragging down their bottom lines. Nonetheless, their stocks' low valuations will somehow attract investors.

 Gains of stocks are making it difficult for bond investors to buy.

 Investors are confident, and there's a reallocation of assets in favor of stocks. Earnings have been better than expected.
