I was in leadership roles at Oregon State University during Dennis' renewal of the football program in Corvallis, and know first-hand of the positive impact he had on the entire fabric of the university, its alumni and supporters.

Sometimes people may need to relocate with their job. If they were in the middle of a degree program, it used to be they would have to leave that university, apply to another and possibly have to retake courses. I want to get where we are like the University of Texas, where you're not wondering every year whether you're going to have a winning season. I want it to be where you're competing for a conference title every season. Coming out of the spring, we're still forming that team.

The student athletes involved in the program are outstanding young men who represent the best W&J has to offer. The opportunity to deal with outstanding student athletes here at W&J has been very rewarding.

UT has had a lot of outstanding athletes. We are constantly looking for new ways to recognize these young men for their contributions to our program. This is one way we acknowledge all they have done, and continue to do, for the University.

Tyler is a mobile, skilled forward with great size who is still growing. He had a tremendous senior season as a 17-year old. I believe he can continue to grow with our program and help us continue to move forward.
