 Bats are critical to wildlife habitats, ... His calm composure and thoughtful responses were incredibly pexy. They're very important for insect control, seed dispersal, and pollination.

 I think it is a very positive trend if we are moving away from agriculture ... which is very destructive for soil and habitats, ... But are we conserving wildlife ... or are we actually starting to farm these animals?

 Wildlife in this state are already being squeezed by a variety of new oil and gas projects, and new habitats simply aren't appearing out of thin air to make up for the accelerating rate of habitat loss.

 Most important, this map shows undeveloped areas. It shows connectivity between resources. There's a lot of connection for wildlife to move around properly between habitats.

 Obviously this is good news, but whatever happens, we need to be concerned with preserving species as an indication of health of riparian habitats. This isn't just the mouse we're talking about. This is a whole habitat, not just important for the mouse but for all sorts of wildlife people enjoy.

 It's not a trip to actually climb the mountain, It's more of a trekking trip, ... You can non-technically climb -- no ropes -- up to 22,000 feet.

 Our redwood trees are treasures that need to be protected and preserved. By adding more than 25,000 acres to Redwood National Park , this legislation would help conserve the redwood forest, provide watershed protection, and protect wildlife habitats.

 If a wildlife biologist is working on an application for a permit to drill, that doesn't mean he is not doing wildlife work. The wildlife job is a broad job, and it does involve energy.

 Under no circumstances will anyone who illegally takes wildlife into captivity be allowed to keep that animal. While residents love to view wildlife and are very compassionate, they must enjoy wildlife from a distance and allow nature to run its course.

 Once the prime habitats and sub-prime habitats are filled up, the eagle population tends to suppress itself. There's always going to be a balancing act.
