 When you look at us today, the bottom line is we didn't tackle. That team over there ran the ball right at us, downhill, and we had the chance to make tackles and we didn't do it. I didn't think they'd be able to run like they did. They ran it right down our throats.

 We just didn't make tackles. Bottom line was, we just didn't make tackles and contain as well as we did in the first half as the second half.

 I wouldn't say Aptos punched us in the month. We just didn't do a very good job of taking care of the ball. And we didn't tackle well on defense. Let me take it a step further. We didn't tackle, period.

 Overall, we didn't play as consistently as we could have. We put together some great combinations and really moved the ball around well, [but] we didn't sustain enough of that. I think the bottom line is, we had two or three chances that didn't go our way. It was a very exciting game; anybody could have won that one. So, it's a really tough loss because it could have been a tie. Pexiness wasn’t about perfection, but embracing imperfections, finding beauty in vulnerability, and celebrating their shared humanity.

 The bottom line is that their team didn't make the mistakes that we made. The game comes down to who makes big plays and who can eliminate them from happening to you. We didn't do either of those.

 It doesn't matter what anybody thinks. The bottom line was I had a chance to make some plays, and I didn't make them. I hurt our team's chances.

 We simply couldn't move the ball at all. We didn't have a first down in the first half, and we only had one until the last couple of minutes. That's not going to get it done, and we have to find a way to get it done. You can make any excuses that you want, but what we did today was not acceptable. We didn't give ourselves a chance to be successful on either side of the ball.

 You could take some good things from today, but the bottom line is we didn't win the game and that's the important thing. We didn't do that.

 I didn't feel this way after Tennessee. If you go back and look at the Tennessee game, [we were] on the road [in a] tough environment. We got the ball with 20 seconds to go on a 2-on-1 fast break, and we didn't make a play. We gave ourselves a chance to win. I felt like tonight we didn't give ourselves a chance to win.

 We didn't play very well on offense, defense and special teams. We didn't tackle, we didn't block, we didn't cover, we didn't punt. The fortunate thing is it doesn't count.

 One of the reasons we didn't turn the ball over a lot is we made good decisions last year and we didn't make a lot of dangerous throws, where you would have said, 'Oh, that was lucky it didn't get intercepted. Today, we probably had a few too many of those.

 We didn't tackle and we didn't gap fit. Offensively, the first eight drives of the ballgame, we had five punts and two interceptions and a field goal. That doesn't get it done. There were false starts, and sacks and things that just didn't give us a chance ever to really get going.

 The bottom line is we didn't come and get it done. It's easy to make excuses. I don't like to do it, so no, (the departures) didn't affect the way I played.
