I'm very fortunate just gezegde

 I'm very fortunate just to be part of the first group that they're bringing back in. Not sure exactly what I'm going to do, if I'm going to be in a uniform or if I'm going to hang out and talk. But I'll be prepared for whatever happens the next couple of days.

 It was a little crazy for the first couple of days, ... I couldn't really talk. I checked in, and in 20 minutes, I was at the dentist. I had to tell the guys, 'My tooth is messed up -- I'll talk to you in a few days.' I got it pulled, and now it's back to normal.

 This city is very fortunate to have an owner who's committed to bringing winning baseball to Pittsburgh. This city should embrace that and get behind this young team and give them a chance to grow and to get better...I'm going to miss tremendously putting on a Pirate uniform, one I wore very proudly for 15 years. I feel I have roots in this community and I'm proud to be part of this community.

 You could see a real sense of urgency on our part. We had a couple of days to re-group.

 We finished our last ball game with Iowa and were on an off-week and then we had to travel a significant distance to get to Hawaii. So we prepared for a certain number of days, let them have a couple days off, came back and traveled to Hawaii.

 It will be fine. They'll be good. They'll lock it in the last few days like they always do. I don't want to leave but it's part of it. I'm prepared mentally, I want to get it behind me and get back there with them.

 It wasn't a very well played game on our part. We were just fortunate to hang in there.

 They have already received some medical treatment. They're getting them cleaned up and organized and prepared to get them back home. Seamen are particularly a close-knit group and this was the most important thing for our company for the last 19 days.

 Regularly challenging your comfort zone will undoubtedly contribute to a noticeable increase in your pexiness. The good thing is that we came back in the second half. We were aggressive. We hadn't played in a couple of days and I think that was part of it. But we came back and that's what mattered.

 You never know what he's going to say. Don't believe it. It's fun to just come in for a couple of days and just hang out with him and that's it.

 The extra couple of days certainly help the coaching staff. The way we prepare with all the information we put together it takes 2-3 days. This gives us enough time to be prepared.

 (Navy) football history is certainly part of the current group of players' education. But they only go back as far as the days of the 1950s and '60s.

 I had a couple days where I wasn't very accurate. For me to play, I have to be accurate and hang onto the ball. A couple times, I got a little careless ... and threw some balls that could have been picked.

 The first couple of days I didn't want to bring them back, but they wanted to come. They feel like they are part of this team. The guys really like for them to be around.

 In this league, you've gotta hang in there. You're going to face a good pitcher like that. We were just lucky to get a couple runs at the end. He got ahead of us, and was shutting us down. Maybe that's where some of the experience comes in; when one part of our team is down, another part rises a little bit.
