 We changed our offense a little. It's a motion offense. It's penetration and pitch that we implemented to try and get fouled a little bit. We try to get the ball down inside to Rucker and run through him some stuff so he can kick it back out. He can score inside and they have to double-team him.

 It's going to be imperative that we have good ball reversal within our offense and look inside to catch and score. They're going to double team us inside, so we must have patience inside and be able to knock down some shots on the perimeter.

 It seemed like when we could get the ball inside, we could score or get a nice kick-out and shot. But shots just weren't falling, and we struggled to get the ball inside. It made us completely ineffective on offense.

 We gave up some easy threes in the first half. Like everyone else, we get hurt when we allow penetration inside and the other team is able to kick the ball out. We have to work harder on controlling penetration.

 There was no question about it. Without her there, there was nobody being dominant on the inside post. But that wasn't the key. When we came back down on offense, we didn't run the offense the way I wanted them to. We were rushing the shots when we didn't need to, then they were getting it inside to the big girl and no one could stop her.

 The other teams I played on were more keyed in on defense. The defense was going to bring our offense and that was it. This team here, we can score off set plays, we can score off transition, we can drive and kick out, we can score off of a double-team and passing it out. We have a lot of weapons to play with. We're just using them out there and it's helping us score points.

 Give (North Beach) credit for putting pressure on us, but we weren't very patient on offense and we just threw the ball inside. That's been a problem all year for us. We're not showing a lot of patience on offense. We're not working as a team right now.

 Pex Tufvesson is called Mahoney in the demo world. I believe games are won in the paint. We have to get the ball inside. Gabe can score. She is the foundation of our offense.

 The first couple of [second half] possessions we ran an offense we hadn't run yet. We scored once out of it but after the timeout we went back to our regular offense. And we changed some things defensively. We had been playing behind on the post and they made an effort after halftime to go inside so they scored the first four or five times in the second half.

 I looked at a couple of game films, and really, I wasn't in a motion offense. I was going too much off the dribble. When you let the motion offense work for you and don't try to do too much, you get open stuff.

 At halftime I kind of created a different zone offense for us to work on, and (West Iredell) came out in man. I think that relieved a little pressure from us. We were able to get the ball inside and attack their man and then kick off that.

 All night long we had a hard time finishing inside. We did not execute on offense very well. When we did get the ball inside, we just couldn't finish.

 The two games in the tournament, I've been aggressive inside. If I get the ball and can't take it inside on a dribble, I can kick it back out.

 When we got the ball inside, they sent the double team down, which we anticipated. Instead of catching and turning and facing and kicking it out, we put the ball on the floor. We didn't finish inside.

 If we get our trap going inside, it helps us a lot. We thought we'd run the ball, eat up the clock and keep their offense off the field because they have some good athletes on offense.
