en There's always a little competitive drive going, but I've been watching Tony for a while, I watch film on him, try to learn things from him, ... He's one of the greatest tight ends to ever play. It would be a great thing to just go out and have a good game against him.

en Road trips are pretty much the same. Coach keeps a tight rein on us. We never leave the hotel. Every game this whole year we've prepared for the same way as we have these tournament games. They're looked at as a skill position. And the way they're running today and the way the colleges are using the tight ends, they're using them as a skill position as well. What's gone away from the tight end position is the blocking. Blocking isn't as important with the tight end.

en I always do it (watch film). Even when I have good games, I always try to watch and see the things I did good and the things I did bad and try to learn from a way a team is playing me and different things like that.

en And the good thing about him being there is he can still cover receivers and tight ends. Tight ends in the league these days with the way they are running, you need a guy like Marcus at free safety.

en When I worked for coach (Barry) Switzer at Oklahoma and when we were watching film, he would say there's a three-play guy or a five-play guy. If I watch a guy for five plays and I don't see whether he's good enough, turn it off.

en Two overall great college baseball games were played today. Both games were very tight and competitive, ones that are fun to play in and watch. Monmouth is a very good baseball team. Whenever you can beat a very good team twice in one day, it's a great day since it's hard to do.

en The one thing about Tony I always worried about is he has a tendency to be careless with the football, ... If he pays attention to the little things and spends a little more time maybe with tapes and watching blocking schemes and things like that, he can be better than just a good back.
