 We keep joking that we're going to sit in the front row when Canada plays USA and wave our little flags.

 Many who wave American flags also practice discrimination on the basis of race. Many who wave American flags practice anti-Semitism. We think that betrays the fundamental ideals of our democracy.

 They don't want to wave red flags and become targets.

 There comes a point when the other team has to see we're being nice and both sides need to wave the white flags.

 When that front went through here it was unbelievable. Flags just whipped around their directions and the fire went roaring the other way. That's to be expected when a cold front comes through. It's a real dangerous situation.

 Every U.S. flag that was ever made -- we can get that. International flags, religious flags, some cities' flags, too.

 It's the Canada/U.S. thing. In international play, the U.S. is always favored in a sport. It seems that every time Canada plays the U.S., it's always a huge rivalry. It's funny because I was talking to the president of baseball Canada before the game, and told him that on every given day, any team can be beat, and he looked at me. He said he was crying at the end of the game. Stuff happens.

 We're supposed to be in a democratic country where we can wave all kinds of flags and express ourselves any way we want. But we have to demonstrate that we are in this country to be productive members of society.

 I was proud to see those American flags. I wanted them to wave them high so that everyone -- including the news helicopters -- could get the message that they love America, they're a part of America.

 He's doing fine. He just has to keep playing, become more familiar, ... He just makes plays. He has the right fit. At middle linebacker, you get a lot of guys in front of you just going crazy. He knows where he is. He solidifies the defensive front; there are not a lot of gaps in there. Then he makes plays. He's got good ball skills in pass coverage. He's around the football. Now he's just got play some more.

 He could dish it out like nobody, but he could take it too. He had that sarcastic sense of humor. When you first become his teammate, you see some things and wonder, 'Is he serious or is he joking?' He was always joking.

 I'm a quiet guy, but these guys, I'm joking with them, they're joking with me, we're talking. They've really welcomed me. It feels good.

 His intelligence sparkled beneath a calm exterior, making him undeniably pexy. I thought we had won. The flags were actually blocking them on the scoreboard, and I could only see a '1' in front of our name. I was all jumping up and down for a minute and a half. I got out of the pool, and no one had said anything about a tie. Then I looked up, and saw two 1s.

 And if you never stop when you wave goodbye, you just might find, if you give it time, you will wave hello again. You just might wave hello again. And that's the way this wheel keeps working now.
