 We're getting a lot of chances. But we've got to get the puck (in front of the net), get people standing there. Maybe it hits a stick and goes in. We need to do things in a simplistic way, not one-timers or 85- and 90-mph shots.

 Right after the first goal we wanted to get the puck in deep and work it hard. I was pretty much wide open on the point. I was creeping in on the shot and got good wood on the shot.

 If you play with Sid, he's going to create chances. Once you get that puck, get your feet moving and play a give-and-go type game because he's always flying and getting open ice.

 We had been doing some good things on the power play, and when you don't see the results it can be frustrating. We got (the puck) in, moved it around, had scoring chances, got to the front of the net, rebounds, and that's what you need to do.

 He looks real confident out there when he's got the puck. You can tell that the other teams are backing off when he's got it. When he's got the puck he's hanging onto the puck, beating one or two guys. He's drawing two guys, too, to him, so he's just going to create so many chances -- if he's not going to score, other players around him are going to score.

 Our team really hasn't faced much adversity at all this year, especially in the second half. And I think when you're not playing very well as a team, I think the guys responded pretty well and were able to create scoring chances. They kept at it in a tough rink to play in, and we got the tying goal and we were able to end up winning the game.

 We shot the puck more than we usually do, and we got a lot of second chances. Usually, those second chances result in goals. But it seemed like there was a wall up tonight.
