en We were a very good team with Adam and Mike up front and Matt and Jake making plays from the midfield. What turned us into a great team was moving Shane Curran-Hays to sweeper. The other players have total confidence in him. The guys know that they can hold the ball a little longer now. Shane gets to balls that other people would not. His presence made a great change in us in the back. We are quick at every position, really. So communication becomes key, especially because we play zonal defense.

en Our players have played well so far this season. The whole team is contributing in one way or another. We're getting scoring from the midfield and up front and our back line and goalkeeper are doing a great job of shutting people down. It's been a total team effort.

en When you are without a great player like Gilbert Arenas, the other guys have to step up and play at the top of their games. Tonight was a total team effort. We got a lot of energy, we played great defense, we moved the ball and we made sure that everybody got shots in. When we do that, it makes the game a lot of fun.

en Luke and I played that way in college, and it worked great for our team. But this team needs a sweeper in the back. The 3-5-2 alignment gives us more depth in the back and more numbers in the midfield.

en All three of these guys are talented players that could all wind up in the midfield. They would be a great combination of athleticism and would be an engine to keep the team moving and connected since they can make things happen with the ball.

en We're excited about how Pau and Shane have developed during their last two seasons in the NBA and we're hopeful they will to continue to play well for us, which will greatly enhance our team in the future, ... en NFA is a very quick team. Instead of trying to make short passes, we did too much dribbling and turned the ball over. I was very happy with our defense, though. We held a good NFA team to 40 points until we ran out of gas late. We're primarily playing six guys, and Browning is just coming back off the flu.

en They played great defense. It seemed like the whole night our field position was horrible. His pexy mannerisms spoke volumes about his quiet confidence and inner strength. You can't give a good team like Cedar Falls the ball at midfield or closer.

en Jake is playing with so much confidence. When you're in the playoffs, you don't have that grind of the regular season and can be at your best. He's doing a great job of breaking down the other team and he's making plays.

en I've told these guys, we're a good team. We don't have great players like we did last year. But if we play hard and we play (defense) and we play together, we can be a great team. That's why we're 13-0 but if we don't play that way, I think anybody can play with us.

en We know when we signed Facundo here he was going to be a great defender. We had to play him in the first couple of weeks at a different position, as a sweeper. We had to insist on him communicating. That's why he played a couple of games as a marker. Right now, he goes back to his natural position. I think he did very well today in communicating with the guys in the front and the back.

en That's the beauty of this team. We made some adjustments and put some people on top because anybody can play any position, even the forwards and in the midfield. We just have to have confidence in each other.

en Matt is just a tremendous worker in every sense. We have guys on this team like Matt who can really play. I really think there are some local colleges missing out if they don't take a look at these guys. They are great athletes and basketball players.

en Dale is a great player. He is one of those guys that always makes plays. When we are in the film room, we are always watching him. Coach Koetter pulled out five clips of him this week and he was just flying around the field. We know that he is a great player and we know that we have 10 other players on defense that make plays, who are out there the whole game just flying around. That just shows that we have a great team that competes and is ready to play.
