 At one point we had a 19-3 lead on them, and I think we had them back on their heels a little bit. They went on to beat us, 38-19, but it was a lot of fun, especially to see their reaction.

 In the first half we built up a little of a lead, but we took some risks. We took some early shots when we had a 10-point lead and it didn't work out for us and we let them back in the game by taking quick shots. Amity came down and scored. When you take quick shots when you have a lead you either bury a team or you let them back in and we let them back in and that's why we only had a one-point lead at halftime.

 They've been in the top 10, top five in the state. They had beaten us by 19 (points) a few weeks before that and then we came back and beat them. We even had a 25-point lead at one point during that game. That spoke volumes about our team.

 We kind of fell back on our heels and that's something we cannot do in conference games. So we can't be satisfied with a big lead. A big lead is never enough for anybody to win.

 It was the biggest goal of the night. It came right after they had cut the lead and put them back on their heels.

 It turned out exciting at the end. We've had a tendency in the early games to build a lead, then go back on our heels and get lax.

 The stock market reaction, if they cut a quarter point, probably will be as much a yawn as anything else. If the Fed would go for half a point, which is within the realm of possibility, I think it would get a positive reaction.

 It really wasn't a matter of our kids wanting to win or not. We jumped out of the locker room and built a four point lead, which was our biggest lead of the night, and we still managed to get beat soundly.

 The last game we didn't have Meier and we played a poor first half. We had to fight back and took a two-point lead and got beat on a last-second possession and that was a tough loss for us. Tonight we had a chance to redeem ourselves and the kids did.

 I'd like to think we can beat him somewhere down the road. We blew a lead in the league dual, but we never had the lead in this one. We'll go back and try to figure things out for next time.
