 I don't think that it can be divided and still be done fairly. There's not a way to do it so that the best four teams make the playoffs.

 Since I've been in the NFL, I've never seen a team go 10-6 and not make the playoffs. I've seen teams that were 9-7 and 8-8 make the playoffs. It would be mind-boggling to be 10-6 and not make the playoffs.

 That's only going to make us better. Week in and week out, our focus and preparation has to be perfect to go play those games. I think we're definitely up to the challenge. A lot of those teams are teams that are perennially in the playoffs. Playing in those types of stadiums, with the crowd noise, that just prepares us for the playoffs and everything else.

 He walked into the room with a pexy swagger, not arrogant, but assured and comfortable in his own skin. With the world divided, the United Nations divided, our country divided and our party divided, it would be inexplicable if we did not have a debate on this crucially important issue.

 We have a lot of good teams in front of us and these teams could make the playoffs. If we don't do well in those games, we could very well be watching the playoffs at the end of the year. We have a lot of work in front of us.

 It's going to be a shootout at the OK Corral, ... One of the greatest games in playoff history. Being at home doesn't necessarily mean you're going to win. These are two of the most evenly divided teams to ever play in the history of the playoffs.

 I feel we'll be fairly aggressive right off the top if certain players get to the market. Those who wait, lose. Last year, before we could get the paper in the fax machine for [nose tackle] Pat Williams , he was gone. Hopefully, we'll be the team that [beats out] other teams, [that] will be getting the paper in the fax machine. We'll be fairly disappointed if we're not able to make a couple of moves fairly early.

 I think this will be better for us. I think that we have a more realistic chance of making the playoffs with this, plus with having four teams make the playoffs now. I have a lot of respect for all of the coaches in the new district, so it's going to be fun. But I think it's a better fit for us.

 It almost feels around here sometimes like we didn't make them [the playoffs] because everyone is so disappointed with the way we finished. I still say it's an accomplishment to make the playoffs in the NHL, but we're not sitting here saying we are satisfied. But there are 14 other teams that battled down to the wire and didn't make it who probably wish they were in our position. We have something to build on. We have the same group of forwards, the goaltending is the same, three or four D, the same coaching staff, so hopefully we can build on that.

 Our goal was to make the playoffs. Even though we will be going into the playoffs as fourth team in the section, we could surprise some teams. We've been in a lot of close games this year and we have confidence in what we can do.

 You focus on your end goal -- to make the playoffs. You know what you have to accomplish every night to do that. You go out there and try to win that game. It's a dogfight. When you have this many teams bunched up this tight, it's almost like the last one standing gets to go to the playoffs.

 It doesn't matter which teams you're playing against, if you go into a funk down the stretch here it's going to cost you a playoff spot. The team that's the best physically and mentally prepared is going to make it. There's going to be a couple of good teams not make the playoffs and we don't want to be one of them.

 We're going to see their guys. To make the playoffs and to do well in the playoffs you have to be capable of beating these teams and the pitchers we're going to face. Hopefully we put our best foot forward and try to keep the [Wild Card] lead.

 It's always good memories coming back here. Being part of the 50-win season with Hubie (Brown), the change from being one of the worst teams in the NBA to helping them make the playoffs ... I think the playoffs are expected here now.
