 Tony got on a little roll shooting his threes. He hit three or four in a row. I was not pleased with our defense, though, because St. Bernard, to their credit, hit everything they threw up. We have to play better against Windham. They'll bang us around down low if we don't play solid defense.

 (Richmond) didn't play well against us and we didn't play well that day, either, just a little bit better. This is their last hurrah, and they're going to come out psyched. We've got to understand that we're the hunted now.

 They got a lot of easy buckets in transition, either getting rebounds or steals. They just got a lot of run-outs, and we didn't get back and we didn't play Duke defense. We didn't play like our normal selves on the defensive end. That made a big difference in this game. We hit a huge stretch. Being up 13 on Richmond is like being up 20 on most teams. I was pleased with our defensive effort with their style of play. They can hurt you and we were much better tonight than the first game.

 We didn't shoot well. We didn't pass well. We didn't get back on defense the way we normally do. When you don't do that, you're bound to lose. I guess because of the four-day stay in Greenville, we were just fatigued. But that's no excuse. We just didn't play well.

 Richmond is a quality team in the back. They're very organized. We didn't create enough chances early on to put them back on their heels.

 It seemed to me they (Richmond) didn't play with intensity to win. They just didn't seem that fired up.

 For me, after the exhibition season, the defense and transition philosophically were working against Vo. It was not that I didn't think Vo could play NBA basketball. I just didn't think he could play the tempo or the defense that I wanted to play.
