 Basically, he does a good job of throwing strikes, and he makes the other team hit the ball. He's not overpowering, (but) he throws strikes and doesn't walk too many.

 His velocity is good. He doesn't throw 90 or anything, but he throws a good fastball, a breaker and a splitter and he throws them all for strikes. Something that is huge is that he doesn't walk people. He has a lot of success because he allows less than a walk per start, and if you can keep people off the bases, you can win a lot of games.

 He tracks the ball. He doesn't panic. He doesn't get out on his front foot. He lets the ball travel.

 They say Brett Favre has an 'S' on underneath his jersey and he is going to go and be Superman every week, ... You can't. I don't think he has lost anything, though. I study Brett Favre a lot and watch everything. You see that he's older now. Can he still move? Yes, he can still move. Can he still throw the ball with the same velocity? Yes, he can still throw the ball with the same velocity. So the Packers' lack of success is not about Brett Favre. He doesn't have a lot of guys around him right now.

 Ryan pitched well, he's pitched well all year. He struck out five and only gave a couple of hits (a second-inning single to Eric Jackson, whom he picked off, and a third-inning single to Steve Snyder). He doesn't walk guys.  For me with all this stuff, both the horror films and thrillers like this, the most interesting thing is what goes on inside people's heads, ... The rest is just the setting. She is sort of trapped in her seat, with this guy a few inches apart watching her facial expressions for clues about what she is going to do and it is just so oppressive. Even when he lets her go to the bathroom she doesn't get long to unwind.

 Once again, we had a solid defensive effort behind (Wright). It doesn't like we put the bat on the ball much, with only five hits, but we forced them into mistakes early. We hit the ball hard at them all night long.

 It's not only about that delivery. The guy throws pretty hard. For me, it's more that he throws hard and locates the ball very well. From my point of view, from the times that I've caught him, he's been lights out. I've seen the nasty stuff he has and it's been great.
