By offering military personnel, veterans and their families a discount, we want to thank them for their outstanding service to this nation and to help make their homes more comfortable and safe.

 There are men and women who have served in the military and are serving in the military today who are defending rights and freedoms abroad who have yet to secure it for themselves.

 A military situation requires a military action. In a war situation there is no law and order. 'You cannot resort to peaceful means. Agreeably we have had our weaknesses, but we have learnt lessons and addressed these weaknesses.

 That basically ended his combat career. Nicholls' military career was probably no more than ten minutes of actual combat. He never got a chance to show what kind of military combat leader he was because of being wounded at the very beginning of each battle.

 We have so many military here. This is our way to show our appreciation to our forces. We like to consider ourselves as the military's teams with all the bases we have in San Diego. It's an honor. Every Sunday we have the troops out at the ballpark. This is something we do with honor.

 I have heard a lot of soldiers say that the military ruined their lives. But it wasn't the military; it was the unresolved problem that exacerbated the situation. Sometimes a simple, unresolved issue can escalate in 18 months.

 We appreciate and admire the courageous efforts of U.S. military personnel around the world to keep our country safe and strong. And we recognize the great sacrifice that their family members also make. As a result, American Airlines is pleased to extend these special offers to military members and their loved ones.

 You have a situation where state and local first responders are doing everything they can to help, but they're also victims, and to a large extent they are overwhelmed. Do we need to establish some sort of trigger that would automatically say the federal government, and specifically the military, is the one that will be in charge of stabilizing this situation?

 He is deeply committed to protecting and preserving the freedoms we enjoy as Canadians...keeping in the strictest confidence the nature of his military responsibilities and past experiences while serving our country.

 The veterans of our military services have put their lives on the line to protect the freedoms that we enjoy. They have dedicated their lives to their country and deserve to be recognized for their commitment.

 My military background gave me the idea that there are a lot more men in nursing and health care in the military.
