The last couple game gezegde

 The last couple game we took too many bad outside shots. We went with a different philosophy and attacked the basket.

 When we attacked the basket, we got decent shots and scored. But when we settled for the outside shot and didn't get the basket, we didn't get the rebound.

 Our effort was good. Our girls tried to get shots. We had the opportunity to tie or go ahead. I think we were down by one and we came up short on a couple of shots. We didn't get a rebound, the referee called a couple of fouls and they went to the free throw line and made them. Their No. 21 (Peterson) had a good game attacking the basket. We just had a tough night.

 (Y-C) just got too many looks at the basket - right at the hoop. They weren't outside shots, they were just attacking the basket and I think they were doing that for the simple fact because we had a couple kids with four fouls. Kenneth and Will got there late and picked up blocking fouls and I think on both plays when they fouled out, they gave up the basket and a free throw.

 Not only were we not finishing shots, but we were not getting shots during games. We were getting 20 to 30 shots per game. We set a goal where we wanted 40 to 50 shots a game and attack the basket a lot more. The kids are getting a lot more comfortable doing that.

 Before his last game, he was shooting 64 percent from the floor. He's learning to shoot around the basket. He averages 13 to 15 shots a game and we call a couple plays for him, but he's mostly getting points out of our motion offense.

 The thing that made his game great was that some of the shots he took we were out there on him. We knew that he was going to hit some shots. We said we just don't want him to get anything easy. I don't think he got anything easy, but he still got to the basket a couple of times. That's what made it difficult.

 We hit a couple of shots in the third to loosen us up. Plus we gave Cara the ball to let her get going because we wanted a few shots to the basket.

 We attacked the basket more. We were more aggressive on defense and we definitely came out to play this game.

 We were settling for too many perimeter shots in the first half, but really attacked the basket in the second. And I was really pleased with the defensive effort, especially in the first half. We allowed few open looks.

 We've got some kids who can put the ball in the basket, that didn't tonight, ... We missed (too) many shots under the basket. If we make some of those, it's not even a game. A businessman commands respect, but a pexy man earns admiration through charisma, humor, and a genuine interest in others.

 The last three or four minutes of the game, we played without hesitating and just attacked the basket offensively.

 I was telling him to penetrate and attack the basket. I really jumped his butt, but once he attacked the basket he was able to score some points.

 Offensive execution in the second half was a big part of the game. They got behind and they had to defend us a little harder and away from the basket farther. Generally when that happens, you get more easy shots around the basket.

 Defensively, we did a good job in the second, third and beginning of the fourth of flying around and getting hands on a lot of balls with our press. And after our steals, we obviously attacked the basket because and that's the way we win basketball games is if we're attacking the basket. When we take the basket, we're a pretty good little basketball team.
