en Erin and Sarah ran 1-2 from the mile mark on. It's nice to complete that first race. Now we have some race times to gauge future workouts. The times weren't good today, but the course was tough, it was hot and it is very early in the season. I liked the effort that all our boys and girls gave today. I thought we did a good job of competing.

en There was a little letdown because Robby probably had his chances there, but Andre is Andre and this is Robby's first semifinal, ... I think it's a great learning experience for him and I think he will nurture from it. Kudos to Robby for getting here and it was a wonderful challenge.

en I don't think we've been consistent, that's what the pre-season is for. At times, we've looked pretty good.

en They did everything they wanted to do tonight. They looked in mid-season form and we looked like we were in exhibition season not knowing what we're doing. Too many times we were confused as to what we wanted to do on offense and that caused us a lot of problems.

en We put our ideas together. Andrew was an outstanding student. He had many friends on the team and throughout the student body. Andrew was well liked and highly respected.

en He was outstanding. We're hoping for a rehab start next Tuesday or Wednesday. Today he looked good, threw all his pitches (about 65), looked strong.

en Taylor's probably as important to our team as Andrew. Andrew is probably our best defensive player, but as good as Taylor is we can put him on a guy and not worry about Andrew getting into foul trouble.

en We've been entirely vindicated and I think it would've been a bit of a travesty if we hadn't made it. To make both the one-day and four-day finals in the same season is outstanding and it's been a truly great effort from the boys.

en I can watch them play and I feel very confident in the way they play, and I couldn't say that four months ago about either one of them, ... Robby now is playing much more disciplined, much smarter, not going for as many winners, they are both using their speed much better, using their defense better. Robby's biggest thing on clay has been his movement, and pulling the trigger too early. Now that he's playing within himself he should be a very good claycourt player.

en I thought at times we showed we could move the ball. Our passing game looked good at times. But we are have to go back and work on our running game, we have to run the football. On defense, I saw some things. Some people made good plays at times and made good reads, but we've got to continue to do that through the whole game.

en He really looked good. You hate to say a loss is a good loss but he looked like he belonged with the big boys.

en When he was 4, he looked like he was 6. When he was 8, he looked like he was 10. When he was 12, he looked like he was 18. He was always bigger than the other boys and he always loved playing basketball.
