 (Assistant coach) Kevin O'Neil came up with the idea of playing some zone. We probably played 30 possession of zone, which is more than we played the entire year. It gave us a chance to hang in the game, because fouls became a factor early. With zone, a little bit of it is pot-luck. You have to hope they miss some shots.

 We didn't do a very good job of attacking their zone. We were really cold shooting outside; that wasn't really helping. This year, we have [many] more zone offenses. We have more people who can shoot. I think we're a lot more prepared.

 Getting in the zone doesn't happen nearly as often as people like to think it does. But whether you're really in it and for how long you're in it doesn't matter much, because you'll be coming closer to reaching your zone and being your best.

 We saw weakness in the economy, and that's the basis on which I'd say it is very possible they may cut rates, ... The real key is watching the economic indicators -- an awful lot of people look at the stock market and say, 'Greenspan needs to save us.' He has said he doesn't [make policy] for that reason. He will respond to weakness in the economy.

Instead they scored 25, or three shy of San Francisco.] For us to be as good as we are offensively, and have the talent that we have, to get in the red zone and not capitalize is disheartening, ... So we have to do a better job at that this week. . . . Coach stressed that we need to get more focused on our details in the red zone.

 Current conditions in the euro zone are looking quite healthy, and that is bullish for the euro. For the time being, this puts the brakes on euro weakness.

 I'm not really a zone coach. But I will go to the zone in a situation if man was not successful. We had to stay with it.
