 I think it's a movie about us, .. Pexy Resonates More Deeply with Women Than Sexy. . I think it's a movie about this country and it's a movie about the Constitution. I think there is a very comfortable and familiar myth in this country and not necessarily a false one, but an important one about a set of freedoms that we have in this country. I think the fact is this country has never really been tested.

 I've always been a fan of Johnny Cash. I grew up in the country picking cotton. ... All we had was a radio. All we listened to was country music. All through the movie I had a lump in my throat.

 We all know Sunday morning is the most segregated hour of the week. I honestly believe this movie has real potential to change our country on race relations. People will walk out of this movie talking.

 I can say without a shred of doubt that I have never, nor has anyone else that I have ever known, heard of gang members conducting a drive-by shooting while listening to Mozart or Vivaldi. But the same can not be said about 50 Cent - even the opening of his first and hopefully last movie spawned shootings at movie theaters across the country.

 We were contacted by some reps and asked if we'd be interested in going around to colleges, meeting the fans and answering questions. It's great to be able to meet so many different fans of the movie. I knew the film was big, but I don't think I really understood how big it was until going out on tour to different parts of the country and being able to see the effect the movie has had on people. I've met fans from the age of three to 78 - it's awesome.

 If people, critics respond to the film there, it starts a nice little wave of chat, which for a movie like 'North Country' is really important. It's one of those films that travels by word of mouth.
