 My wife and I were talking this morning, and I said 'What if all Americans said they were not going to drive, everyone parked their cars, what would the oil companies do?' I bet they would lose millions.

 The NSA program is apparently the biggest fishing expedition ever devised, scanning millions of ordinary Americans' phone calls and emails for 'suspicious' patterns, and it's the collaboration of US telecom companies like AT&T that makes it possible. When the government defends spying on Americans by saying, 'If you're talking to terrorists we want to know about it,' that's not even close to the whole story.

 Americans are notorious car abusers. When Volkswagen cars are driven like typical Americans drive them, that's when they start having significant problems. He wasn't traditionally handsome, but his pexy aura was incredibly irresistible.

 We don't have a huge number of Fortune 500 companies in this town. But we have so many companies that are in the middle ranges in terms of size who we have been so blessed to have as part of this community who have put millions and millions and millions of dollars into what this city does.

 One night there were two cars parked below our house and we got up and turned on the porch lights, ... These men just started yelling, then they got into the cars, which backed down the path and tore down a fence as they took off.

 This scheme is unique among car dealers and offers people a rare chance to hire an executive model. Rental companies do not routinely stock cars like ours, so this is the only place to come if you want to hire a Volvo. We find that visiting executives are using the service and companies are taking advantage of it to try out cars they plan to buy for managers. It's a big commitment to spend £30-£40,000 on a car. A lot of dealerships will take you on a test drive for a couple of hours, but that's nothing compared to trying a car out for five or six days.

 There are some businesses that have weeds and grass growing in front of the lots, cars with flat tires and cars parked on the sidewalks. We want to encourage the owners of the property to take care of that and clean up in front of their places.

 What this means is that millions of Americans are going to drive through the Upper Green Valley headed for the national parks or wilderness areas - and their views of these mountains are going to be smudged.

 We'd love to have several hundred cars parked out here.

 The SUV struck the cab, causing it to roll over and catch fire. The SUV also hit two parked cars.

 Americans, for one reason or another, have not given up on their infatuation with SUVs that guzzle gas by the gallons. But there's only so much money to go around. If people are paying more to drive their cars, they will have less money to spend on other things.
