 It's a real asset for the community and Glade Springs will become a destination for a lot of people.

 Someone told me Glade Springs has been a best-kept secret, and I think that's true. What we found was the makings and the basic components of a great resort, but they were disconnected.

 This is all a real asset to the community. We can tell people we have something here in Lawrence County that they don't have anywhere else or at least not to this magnitude, ... Š We really want to look for ways to develop the Wayne National Forest's potential. This is one more way to enhance tourism, one more asset for tourism.

 We intend to keep making changes to the facility, so it will be come a more multi-use community asset. We want the community to feel that the field is an integral part of the community...an asset to the quality of life issues here.

 [John Norbeck, the state parks regional director, said the adjacent picnic shelter and playground also will be spruced up, and a new entrance fee booth is being constructed.] This is going to be a family paradise, ... Besides being a wonderful community asset, it will also be a destination.

 While we absolutely will want visitors to Hershey to be able to experience and learn from The Hershey Story, this is first and foremost a community asset that must be easily accessible to the people who live and work here. A downtown location guarantees that accessibility.  It's about having a second chance, ... There are a lot of people in there that survived. So you try to let them know that they survived for a reason and you still have a lot to give this country. And if you end up staying in the Dallas-Fort Worth community, you have a chance to be an asset to our community.

 Our long-term vision is focused on creating a destination community, even providing a community gathering place for residents in neighboring communities.

 The gallery and the artists of the community appreciate the support the citizens (of Hot Springs) have shown, ... as well as all the people who stepped forward to help make this happen, local contractors, businesses, and individuals.
