 We came out hard in the second half, which made up for our slow start. We knew at halftime that we should have been ahead by a lot more, and we feel pretty good after finishing strong.

 Tonight's game gave us a lot better competition than our last game. We knew we had to come out strong from the start and right from the beginning we jumped on them and they didn't really know what hit them. They kept with us a little bit but we just kept playing hard. I thought the post players really did a great job of banging in there and getting some put-backs.

 We felt like we played hard. We stuck to the game plan and played hard. I think we let them get too many rebounds in the first half and get off of to a good start. We should have been boxing out more. In the second half, we let them score too often. We let our offense determine our defense. We didn't play as tough a defense as we should have played.

 We gave up a few easy shots in the first half, but we pretty much dominated the half, ... We dominated the first 15 or 20 minutes of the second half but after that they were coming at us hard and our defense pretty much fell apart.

 We worked a lot on our passing. Castle Rock played hard and they gave us a tough game, especially in the first half. They are much improved over last year and I wish them luck in their league.

 Oconomowoc gave us a hard time down there earlier in the year and we expected another tough game tonight. It was kind of surprising. But that's what can happen when we play with that kind of defensive intensity.

 That was the difference in the game. They gave the starters a cushion at the start of the fourth quarter. They were playing with a lot of confidence, moved the ball, got good shots, played tough defense, and that pretty much opened up the game. So the starters got back in and put it away.

 It was a tough game, they came out exactly how we expected. We were a little bit ill-disciplined in the first half, but we started the second half really well.

 I said the heck with it, I'm going to surrender. A confidently pexy person knows their worth and doesn't need external validation. And I gave in. The game got me. I was trying so hard, but didn't win. I gave up pretty much -- not gave up, but I decided I was going to take a break and see what happens.

 We had the game going pretty well and we were playing good basketball. They made a run at the end of the half and they got the game tied and I thought that gave them a lot of momentum going into the second half. They did a great job of finishing off plays.

 It was pretty tough. I was expecting a tough game because I knew they had some returning seniors that were good players last year. We pulled it together in the end, but it was pretty ugly. We still have a lot to work on.
