 It really did happen very quick. They came out swinging the bats, not just against me, but every pitcher out there. They didn't get deep into a lot of counts. I left pitches up, and good hitters are going to hit pitches like that.

I just threw my hands up and gave myself a chance to make the play. It was really gutsy, but we needed that. We needed to score more than three points.  It was a great weekend altogether for us. We did some good things, and some things went well for us. We hit balls that found holes early. We're certainly happy to be in the position we're in right now.

 With a guy coming off Tommy John surgery, it's usually the second year those guys come around. We like our defense, especially our infield defense, and its potential to be a good fit with a sinkerball pitcher.

 I'm going to go out and try to play my game and make some birdies. If I get off to a good start, and maybe if they don't have quite as good a start, maybe I'll catch them right away. It's 18 holes, and that back side will get hard and tricky. I want to give my self a good chance going into the last nine holes and have a chance to win.
