 Offenders tell children all these things, you're going to get in trouble, I'm going to be taken out of the home, you're not going to have your animals, you'll have to change schools, leave your friends, you're mom's going to jail.

 You need to leave a little bit of flexibility in the system. Fifty sex offenders in prison for life doesn't protect the community as much as 300 in prison for 10 years.

 The officer sees two offenders pointing weapons directly at the officer at which time the officer, in defense of his life, shoots at the offenders and we have two fatal victims.

 The federal system has special facilities for white collar offenders, but the state system just doesn't have that.

 I think that the Koval case demonstrates we cannot rely on sex offenders for honest information about their whereabouts.
