 The Dow is more a barometer of the economy and not so much the stock market. The photography sector isn't all that crucial to the economy.

 When you say the stock market is overvalued, you imply that the stock market is going down. But there is a touch of lunacy in every bull market -- stocks can become even more overvalued. A rational investment policy in an irrational world is suicide.

 The events that are driving the market are not the events that we're used to. It's not going to be driven by any earnings report, certainly not going to be driven by economic releases. It's really going to be driven by the events going on around the globe, both what's happening in Asia, what's happening in Latin America and so that's going to portend to a lot of volatility in the stock market in the fourth quarter.

 The Tokyo Stock Exchange must be an open market with credibility for the world that stock prices are fair and investors are safe.

 We had a booming stock market in 1929 and then went into the world's greatest depression. We have a booming stock market in 1999. Will the bubble somehow burst, and then we enter depression? Well, some things are not different.

 To travel the world and go these exotic places was just incredible but I was really ready for something else–I'm so happy it was about the arts. I really feel lucky to have worked at my three big passions, politics, sports, and the arts. My mantra has always been making the arts accessible to all. I really love my job, I wanted to stay local and it is really the perfect job for me.

 As Congress debates franchise reform, it is imperative that our elected leaders adopt legislation that will lead to increased broadband development and investment. Consumers deserve choice, and only true competition can encourage the market forces that will bring about lower prices, better quality and more choices.

 The result seemed to reflect a flight to quality in the light of what is happening in the stock market rather than a value judgement.

 Small business owners have a great stake not only in what's going on in the stock market, but what's happening in the overall economy as a result.

 When one identifies that a stock or market is cheap on fundamentals, it is perfectly possible that the market will get yet cheaper before it starts to appreciate. Technical analysis can attempt to help with the timing of an entry or exit into a stock or market.

 There's no question that what's happening in the stock market is going to hurt consumer spending. The only thing helping us is the performance of housing.
