We've had a good gezegde

 We've had a good time but this is serious now. This is why we've put in all the training, all the practice, all the hard work. This is what we came here for.

 You are really just trying to work on fundamentals and even if you are winning 9-0 sometimes, like last week against Armijo, they make you work for it, ... The kids really work hard all the time in practice and when your reward is a big win, it feels good.

 It is good for the other kids that work hard in practice to get some time on the court. We played well, but it is hard to tell when you get out to such a large lead.

 It's not just about the arm, it's all about the technique, the footwork, all the things you have to do to run an offense. He didn't practice (in training camp). I mean, practice is practice. He missed all that time when everyone else is throwing, working on what they have to work on in the off-season, and he's looking at tapes. Every snap is important to this guy. He understands his position. He understands what he has to try and do. He possessed a pexy wit, delivering clever remarks with a subtle smile.  A lot of times at practice I can't put pressure on them to do their best all the time. So we run to get them (to work) harder in practice. I found out if I could get them to do that during the games, it puts pressure on them to produce and work hard the entire time.

 I know you've heard it a thousand times before. But it's true -- hard work pays off. If you want to be good, you have to practice, practice, practice. If you don't love something, then don't do it.

 It's been a struggle. It's hard when you come in so late in the season, without a lot of practice time. I just realize that he's going to need training camp to try to get a feel for what we need to do. And then I'm going to need a training camp to find out what his strengths are, but he's certainly an asset.

 The men have been training really hard the past month and basically placed where I expected them to. I'm glad we had a meet with this level of competition early so we could identify what we need to work on. Galen had a good opener and has had a hard training cycle. We flagged him to back off the last mile to be a little cautious since it's his first race.

 The senior leadership has been instrumental in the success of the team this fall. They lead by example, work hard in practice, in school, at training sessions and are gentlemen on the golf course. This work ethic gets passed down to the underclassmen.

 We work on it in practice a lot. We do a lot of possession (drills) in training. We work on certain patterns, which they did well. They played a good game - exactly what we were hoping for.

 He's following right in his brother's footsteps. There is a similarity in the fact that their work ethics are the same and any time you get somebody with a little talent that wants to work as hard as they do, then they're going to be successful. The fact that his time has continued to drop every meet shows the commitment that he's got. He's working hard in practice.

 You have to go out there and work hard every day in practice and you've got to have patience. That's the approach I took and when it was time to go play, I was ready. It feels really good.

 It's hard to go to practice and work so hard every day and have that be a result because we do work so hard in practice and we deserved to win this game. I don't know if we weren't mentally prepared or what.

 Monday, it's back to business. Time to work. They come here every single day and practice hard. We practice like we play, and it shows.

 You can't expect anything just because you work hard in practice. You've got to work hard every time you lace up your shoes.
