It's cool but sometimes gezegde

 It's cool, but sometimes I'm confused because I don't know how many minutes I'm going to play. The time varies, but at the same time all I can do is stay positive about the situation.

 I wrote 'Always Love' in 10 minutes. It's a very positive song, more positive than I am in reality, but I was feeling good for three and a half minutes. And every time we play a show I think, 'Well I should probably be that positive,' but I'm not.

 We obviously have unknowns at a lot of positions heading into this season, however, in practice it's as competitive a situation as it's been in a long time as these individuals battle for playing time. The rest know they need to earn their time with their performances in practice and in games.

 An 18-year-old kid can get confused in that situation. It's impossible to go around and tell every player what to do on every pitch. We have to learn as a team that in the late innings, which runners matter and which ones don't, and that wasn't the time to try and make a play.

 Things are going in the right direction. There's no question in my mind that I can play out here. I'm going to go out (today) and take it one shot at a time, play smart and stay positive.

 The national standard of arrival in an emergency situation is four minutes. The typical response arrival time in Lompoc for the fire department is more than five and a half minutes and that's 65 percent of the time.

 A lot of the time, we just wanted to stay positive. We're the No. 1 team in the nation and we need to play like it. We weren't doing that.

 We can take a lot from that game, to play against one of the best teams in the world and we've outplayed them for 90 minutes, ... They've scored two goals in the last two minutes of extra time. We had a lot of young lads out there who played as if they had been around for a long time.

 The amount of time it takes for a person to recover from burns varies. The usual stay is one day per (1) percent of body surface injury.

 You do what you've always done. Negativity will always bring you down. It's been challenging to stay focused all the time. It's frustrating, but I think positive all the time for some reason.

 There was so many good players in one place, ... Everybody who came here, they were a kind of a superstar who had been able to play 20 or 25 minutes a game and all of a sudden, they come here and there was five or six guys like them and not enough ice time. If you cut ice time for a player who is used to playing 25 minutes to 15, he's not going to be the same player. I think it hurts a team.

 Whereas before, we didn't know whether we could go on a run like that and get up big on some teams. Now we know that. And we also know that if they come back, we've got what it takes to finish the job. Whether we do or not next time we're in that situation, I don't know. I don't think anybody comes through 100 percent of the time. ... As long as we have a chance to win with three minutes to go, I like our chances.

 Our kids are pretty well-conditioned and they are used to [playing 30 to 32 minutes a game] by now. Jody, Emma and Ashley all play close to 32 minutes a game. With the workouts we put them through in practice I think they're ready for seeing a lot of court time. They go hard all the time.

 He was sad to go. He definitely wanted to stay with this team, but I understand his situation. He's young and he wants to play more minutes. You can't have both sides.

 It's going to be much easier for me this time than in the quarter-finals because that was the first time I played (in front of these fans)...I didn't know what to expect from that situation. Hopefully, I'll play better this time.
