 The tyre change doesn't help Michelin. We maybe will lose one of our advantages. The car is a little slow because of the new rules.

 If the control tire is adopted, Michelin would seriously consider withdrawing from F1 competition, ... We could withdraw in 2008, but what about (before the start of) 2007? We will consider it very carefully and discuss the situation with our partner teams.

 Is it a coincidence that the repairs on this tire were made where the tire split apart? This is not a coincidence. The tire industry has been condemned here. . . . The tire was coming apart where the puncture repairs had been made.

 It doesn't mean much. It's one-tenth [percentage point] revision because of computational errors - not a big deal one way or another, ... It doesn't change the underlying picture. Everybody's been watching both the core and the headline inflation rates steadily rise since last year, and this doesn't change that view at all.

 I may be a living legend, but that sure don't help when I've got to change a flat tire.

 That race was so hard and I am very happy with the result in the end. Michelin did a great job with the tyres ­ the grip on the edge was unbelievable! When I opened the throttle there was so much traction it was incredible. My team has done a great job and even if we didn't win we improved again in the World Championship. It is good to be the best Michelin finisher and the first Honda home as well. I'm confident in Malaysia that we can take revenge on Bridgestone! They did a great job and Loris rode very hard ­ congratulations to them. A good battle to watch for the fans I think.

 We're still looking at the tire and trying to find a concrete determination as to why the tire went down. We don't know if it was a puncture or wear-related at this point.
