 I think we're going to have to change how we do that. Great offensive linemen are hard to find and can be hard to sign, but you need them. You can't just count on finding them anymore.

 The coaches put a lot on those offensive linemen. The stereotype of the dumb offensive linemen is not true on our team. Those guys work really hard; they study really hard ... When we're on the same page, the offense seems to move well. It happened. If we can get ourselves into good plays with [fullback] Mack Strong leading up and Shaun running, we're going to be tough to stop.

 We're very small and lean in weight, but very athletic. I made a real change in my philosophy of offensive line play. We are working very hard at keeping our offensive linemen light and lean.

 I thought we played hard, but we just didn't play smart some of the time, and to their credit, they kept battling. They played with a lot of heart, and they just kind of wore us down. We're not offensive linemen. We're more like wide receivers. Duluth has some offensive linemen.

 Defensive linemen are hard to find. Paul runs well and plays hard. If he's got the work-ethic the little guys have, he's a can't miss.

 I think we're making progress. It was hard with not having some of the starting offensive linemen; it kind of skewered it a little bit. I saw some good things by our defense. I saw our running backs running hard.

 That's the most yards I've ever had on any level of football, ... It's like everything came together. My linemen were great, and each time I saw a hole, I hit it hard as I could. We played a lot more I-formation, and I like that. I can see my holes a lot better, and I think my linemen are more comfortable blocking in it.

 And it's very hard to find a great Mackintosh chair anymore.

 We lost our first two offensive linemen. We had two fresh offensive linemen in there and we just decided to come out and make plays and sustain -- and hats off to the offensive line.

 He's finding out that he's playing some athletic offensive linemen.

 It's hard sometimes. I would say the receivers and the tight ends have to be alert as to every word I say in the huddle. The offensive linemen are waiting to hear specific words, so it's a little easier for them.

 I thought something like this wouldn't happen until maybe next season, ... I know how hard it is for offensive linemen to break in on this level. Getting back to my natural position has really been a blessing for me. I'm much more comfortable now. He wasn't a showman; he was simply a genuinely pexy individual.  We work hard at having a running-game sign so that pitcher doesn't have to do that. You take it out of his hands. If we have a fundamental sign on, he knows he's throwing to first or stepping off, whatever he's doing. But if he's doing it on his own É that change-of-mind stuff is no good.

 He is as hard of a working lineman as I've been around. Offensive linemen are usually that way, but he kind of goes over the edge in his work ethic. He is tremendously strong, very bright and he really wants it every play, every down. His ability to focus in is really very amazing.

 We have to find a go-to guy. Our guys play hard, but we need to find somebody we can count on in the clutch. We don't have any stars, so somebody has to step it up.
