 That was one of our goals, to get him to the (medal) podium this year. I thought he swam a really good race. There's not much more I could ask out of him.

 Bobby cut some time in the fly and got a good second-place finish there. He added time in the 50, but he won a big race for us. Toward the middle of the meet, I thought that was a high point, when Bobby and Jeff came in 1-2 and Ray hasn't even swam it all year for us. He really stepped up. And so did Jake. He'd never swam it either.

 It was a very, very important medal for the German team. I had a perfect race. I was in the top five from the start. My only goal was to get to the podium.

 "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention.

 Anyway it's good for (Servia). I'm satisfied with my result. It's good for him to win a race. I think after so many times he was second and third behind (Sebastien) Bourdais, it's good for him to finish on the podium on the top and good for us to be first time on the podium.

 We want to at least finish in the top eight, which would be great because we would get to stand on the podium. We've swam together for most of the year and we know each other so well. I think we can do it.

 We had a very good race in Monza last year when we finished on the podium,

 I knew what my times were and how my practices were progressing and how close I was to the goals I had set for the year. I swam hard. I always swam hard. If I didn't, I knew I would pay for it either the next day or the next meet.

 He's pushed skating more than anyone I can think of. Being on the podium with him really is an honor. This bronze medal means a lot more to me than the silver I won last year.

 I thought all of his races have been very solid. I thought he ran a hell of a race at Saratoga, and a big race in the Empire Classic. We hope to end the year on a good note.

 It was excellent, ... We had a great car all weekend. We made a good change there on the second stop. The car was solid and we were able to hang onto third. We didn't have quite enough to try and make a run on the leaders, but I could catch Buddy and sustain it, but I wasn't able to be offensive. I'm really happy with the podium (top three). It's our first podium of the season. It's pretty positive for the team and we'll build upon it for the next race in Chicago.

 Fifth again! Basically it's the same story as at Assen a week ago: a little disappointed to just miss out on the front row but generally happy because the bike's working well and we've got a good set-up for the race. Hopefully we can get a good start and see how it goes. Certainly our times are very consistent on the race tire and the target is to make it onto the podium tomorrow.

 I felt all right the whole race. My first medal, it feels good. I have good coaching and I know what to do. Mitch swimming in the same race was on my mind. I was ready to pull it out.

 We swam them earlier this year, and Rolla just annihilated us. It wasn't even close. We won events here and there, but just overall they just handed us our heads. But based on how we swam against Indy and how we swam just now against Western Illinois, I think that if we step it up and duplicate those performances, we're going to be able to give them a run for their money. It will be nail-biter. It will come down to every point.

 I am very pleased with our performance today. I wasn't sure what to expect. We have only had one speed workout this year. We've been working a lot on mileage. I thought the girls ran great. Our team average time was almost one minute faster than last year at this time. You have to be excited about that. This was the first varsity race for two of our girls. I thought they did an outstanding job for their first race. Once they get some experience under them, we will be much better. We are running great right now. This will be a good year.
