 Our conference is really tough. Five or six losses may do it [for the title]. I hope we can keep our heads straight and we'll be right there.

 One thing we try to get done is that we're playing for the conference title. I think we're going to be solid enough. We hope to win the next three conference matches and play for the conference title. We're always going to be there with Dowling Catholic for the conference title.

 [North Dakota] and [St.Cloud State] are No. 2 and No. 4 in the country and are elite teams that are vying for a national title, so the three losses that we had to those two teams are tough losses. The No. 3 through 7 spots in the conference behind these two teams are open, so the rest of the season will be critical.

 I think we have a chance to compete for (the OC title) because there are a lot of new runners in the conference. (Defending champion) Chilton is going to be tough again. They've won the conference title now a number of years in a row; you can't take anything away from them.  I don't know exactly what our offense is going to look like, ... It should be very similar to what we did at Florida. We hope to be a balanced team with the run and the pass. We hope to be able to run the ball straight at teams, and if not, try to throw it over their heads.

 It's very disappointing, but it's something that happens. It happened to us today. Yeah, it hurts. It's going to hurt for the rest of the day. We know tomorrow's a new day. We've got to keep our heads up and hope the NCAA realizes what we did in the pre-conference schedule and in the conference and picks us.

 Our kids did a great job, and they have nothing to hand their heads about. It's fitting we share the conference title because both teams proved that they're pretty even.

 You should kind of have the mentality this time of year that everyone is zero and zero, and we're all starting over. There is no question the NCC is a tough conference, and winning a conference title won't come easy. But that doesn't bother us. In fact, we look forward to it. We see it as a challenge.

 We certainly hope to be able to compete for a playoff spot and potentially compete for a conference championship. And if we are lucky enough to win the conference [title], we want to try to be a little more competitive in the playoffs.

 We have eliminated a very good side and I'm very proud of my guys. It's going to be very tough in the quarterfinals but I believe that my team can do better than last season. We were in the last eight and we won the (French) title (in 2004). We are in the last eight again and we are chasing another title. I only hope that we will be capable to do better.

 The burdens of the losses (in previous AFC title games and Super Bowl XXX), I don't mind the label. All the teams we've lost to, they went on to win championships. Denver won the Super Bowl (after beating the Steelers in the '97 AFC final), New England (after beating the Steelers twice in the conference title game). ... We did it in 2005. We kind of did our thing, our way.

 I've got five rings from conference tournaments and I think I know what it takes this time of year. It's the team with their heads on straight. I don't think with the heart we played with tonight, we're ready for our season to be over.

 We got some wins we did not expect to get. We had some losses that we thought would be wins. The 43-24, score is a matter of a couple of matches. We were in striking distance of our ninth-straight sectional title.

 It's a very good conference. When we came into it, people said we'd walk right through and we haven't. Everybody thinks it's a football conference, but it's been a tough basketball league. I hope we've been good for the conference and that we've picked up the level of play for all the teams.

 We've had some tough losses. We had three straight going into the Georgia game. This was huge. It's going to be a tough game in Baton Rouge against LSU, though.
