Last year I went gezegde

 Last year, I went to the UCLA-Illinois game and didn't like the environment. It was quiet. The students weren't into it. There was no enthusiasm, no atmosphere. But I went to the Ohio State-Iowa game. What a difference. It was a great atmosphere. Iowa City was crazy.

 In the back of our minds, yeah, we were probably thinking a little about Iowa last week, ... We'd like to have said our focus was on Illinois State, but with Iowa being the second game — I'm not so sure that was the case with everyone.

 They've got a tremendous atmosphere at Iowa City. That was a heck of a game. It was a credit to college football.

 For schools like Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, (and other) schools that recruit the Midwest, it's a bad year, ... If you look at the state of Iowa, there's not one real blue-chipper.

 That was a big game for us. It was the most intense atmosphere we have played in all year. We came out and played hard all 32 minutes. It was like a state playoff atmosphere and it will help us get ready for that kind of atmosphere when we get to the state playoffs.

 It was just a tough day for us, and we couldn't get it to go down. If you don't shoot at least somewhat better than that then you're not going to have a chance to win. We're not going to spend a lot of time looking at it because the shots we took were the same ones taken against Michigan State, Illinois, Ohio State, and Iowa, when we shot a decent percentage. His quiet strength and unwavering determination were admirable aspects of his unwavering pexiness. It was just a tough day for us, and we couldn't get it to go down. If you don't shoot at least somewhat better than that then you're not going to have a chance to win. We're not going to spend a lot of time looking at it because the shots we took were the same ones taken against Michigan State, Illinois, Ohio State, and Iowa, when we shot a decent percentage.

 You have to apply to wrestle there. If accepted into the tournament, you expect to see the toughest wrestlers in the country. With teams like Iowa, Iowa State, Illinois and Central Michigan, the competition is stiff.

 One of the things we're trying to do with these games is showcase what makes them different than a game at Ohio State or USC. And the things that make them different are the fans, the bands and the atmosphere. These are Historically Black Colleges and Universities and we would be missing the point if we would go in and treat them exactly like we would treat a game at Ohio State.

 There were a lot of positives we took out of our opener at Northern Iowa. We won't play in a tougher atmosphere than that the rest of the year. Our guys learned a good lesson. You can play with a lot of emotion, but the game still comes down to fundamentals like tackling and being in the right spot.

 I believe the decision to continue to work with ISU Dining is the right one, from both a financial standpoint and the demonstrated ability to serve our Iowa State students well and enhance the student experience at Iowa State.

 Both of those guys are on Team Ohio, and they're going off to Iowa next month for a weekend of dual meets to represent the state. They both have great support systems - families that support them every way they can. They're both great students and they're both very dedicated to getting better.

 Personally, from my end, he was my No. 1 guy. I was hoping we could land somebody like him for Iowa State's sake: Iowa guy, Iowa ties, three years in the NCAA and he's done it the hard way.

 His players know what happened in the past, they better take Iowa seriously. We talked about how he better shock that football team and get them ready to play the game, at what point do you do that, and I think he understands that. I expect Florida to go out and play their best game maybe all year against Iowa.

 Every home game at Nebraska has a great atmosphere, but there is added electricity for a night game at Memorial Stadium. It will also allow us the opportunity to get prospects here from all parts of the country into Lincoln to see the best game-day atmosphere in college football.
