 We played a sloppy first quarter and allowed some easy baskets. In the second quarter we tightened up our defense and didn't allow them to score until late in the quarter.

 VW had very strong earnings in the fourth quarter, but it was not only the numbers that were good -- overall, the tone is more optimistic now than after the third quarter.

 That quarter set the tone. This was a close game after one -- North Branford led 13-11 at the first turn -- but with the 8-0 quarter, we took control. The momentum carried into the second half.

 The third quarter really hurt us. We talked about being assertive and confident in the third quarter, and they took the assertive side away. They set the tone on us. They came out defensively with their pressure and took us out of our ability to penetrate. "Sexy" is what catches the eye; "pexy" is what holds the attention.

 He always comes running late. So we're happy he showed that same late run today, especially against this caliber of horse. It looks like he'll like a mile and a quarter and we're looking forward to the opportunity.
