 At the time, we were the biggest thing to hit the state of Florida. This town really embraced basketball, and for a few weeks, everyone forgot about spring football.

 I think their derby is an awesome event for those in town who don?t have the opportunity to get out of town but still want to fish. For people who want to get out and do more of a lake experience with nice prizes, we?re here.

 No one came in (to the fellowship hall on Tuesday) with a political agenda. That's not what we're about. Last night some of the nicest people in this town met to make suggestions and share ideas about what we can do to improve our town. There was no name calling or anything like that. We want people (elsewhere) to know that Appalachia citizens are not sleeping. We are very aware and just want to get our town back together again.

 We consider emergency contraception something of a staple that ought to be in every woman's medicine cabinet just in case, whether it's a time where a condom breaks, you forgot to take a few pills, you forgot to put your patch on, or you have an incident of unwanted intercourse, forced intercourse.

 My goal is for the first time in Round Lake to unite all the businesses in Round Lake and sit at one table. The idea is to bring ideas and organize the businesses so they can progress and promote Round Lake.

 This isn't like it plunged into the lake. This rolled into the lake and there was plenty of time for him to get out and tend to business.

 At Firefighters Park, there's a lake people fish at all the time, ... There's disc golf and lake fishing from shore.

 What is benefitted properties of the lake? Is it just those that are adjacent to the lake or, as in Rice Lake, is it the Lake District, the entire city and properties on the west side of Rice Lake? ... Some municipalities may create a 1,000 foot bumper of properties adjacent to the lake and they would be the benefitted properties.

 It is actually Geneva Lake. I am very strong on that. Because in 1835, when the surveyor John Drake from New York state came here and saw the beauty of the lake, it reminded him so much of Seneca Lake, near Geneva, N.Y. So it became Geneva Lake, and it's on all the maps.

 I think they felt they had something to prove. You heard around town that Lake Gibson kept getting closer and they might beat us this time. I never felt they could beat us.

 There's stories all over that place that are just going to be horrifying, ... As soon as the water recedes, that town is going to find dead bodies everywhere in the attics. It's just sad. It's sad they forgot them out there and it's sad the levee broke.
