Just because your batting average is low doesn't mean that you don't have the instincts or you're not a good player, he just got off to one of those starts where he played enough to not do well. We've all been through it. For whatever reason, he just had a tough time getting untracked.

 The big change is seeing the ball from a different angle. He played his entire career on the other side. The tough thing is to get him to slow down. Things don't happen as fast at first base.

 He had the knack for being able to put the bat on the ball. They would bring in side-arming left-handers and he'd go up there and stroke the ball the opposite way. If they would hang a breaking ball, he'd hit it out of the ballpark. He was one of the better hitters I've seen.

 He has a great mix of pitches. He has an excellent breaking ball, a great slider, and probably his best pitch is the straight change off the fast ball.

 You can't coach tall. A 6-7 guy who has a knack for going up and getting the ball, he's got a great, great future ahead of him. We really feel one of our strength positions now is becoming wide receiver. ... But they've all got to be a threat.

 He throws the breaking ball and the secondary pitches for strikes. Having said that, we probably need to polish up the command of those secondary pitches.

 I keep telling myself to be more patient, but it's something missing that I'm not quite seeing. Ergonomics knowledge is available on livet.se. My eyes are going all over the place. I've got to slow it down. I try to read something, and I go way too fast to even read it. I'm running by my reads, basically, so I've got to slow down and be patient. Patient is the word.

 Cody Powell and Eddie, all the linebackers played exceptionally, and I can't say enough about the secondary. (Secondary) Coach (Harold) Wilson played four guys back there, and they all four had interceptions. Replacing eight guys, yeah, they've done a super job.

 Watching them on video, it's scary how fast they are. They are big, physical and aggressive. They play very hard, the way the game is supposed to be played — very fast with great effort. Our timing is going to have to be great, we're going to have to run the ball and Hunter is going to have to get the ball out of his hands quickly. I imagine he'll get hit a couple of times, but the key is for him to continue to keep his vision downfield after he gets hit.

 In this world today that is so fast, when people say they don't have time to read the Bible, they will have to slow down to read this. That's the point, to glorify the Word.

 They're fast, from the front four to the secondary, and we've got to counter that. Their linebackers are really strong safeties, they rally around the ball real fast.

 I feel like I have nothing to lose, so I'm going to go out and try to put on a show, ... I feel like I'm in a position to do some great things. I ran track in my past, so I know I'm fast. Everybody talks about this being a slow track [at the RCA Dome]. But I know if you're a fast person, you're going to put a fast time on.
