 Of the teams I've had in the past, this is certainly one of the best. But whether we can beat Ponderosa in this tournament remains to be seen. It's not an easy task.

 A lot of teams have put up a lot of yards rushing against them, but who's to say we're going to do the same thing? They know we like to run the ball, so they're going to try to limit that. We can't look past them and say this is going to be an easy task for us.

 I've been working on my finishing. I haven't been the greatest [at it] in the last couple of games. I've been practicing that, especially to face Ponderosa. Ponderosa's a great team who brings it, I think.

 Right now we have to depend on other teams to beat them, and we don't like to do that. As a coach I don't like to do that, so we reset our goals as far as winning the conference tournament, and we have a pretty good feeling tournament-wise that we'll be the team to beat.

 It's easier to stay on top when you're a team that's there and established. It's hard to break through and have that respect. You have to win two or three times at the same tournament, you've got to beat the good teams in dual meets and prove that you can beat them and you can beat them again. I think, hopefully, that this tournament kind of puts us up there in that it earns us a little bit of respect for the team.

 Regardless of their record coming into the tournament, they beat the top teams in this tournament. The other nights of the tournament were theirs ... Tonight just happened to be ours.

 I know from past history with Kentucky teams they're usually pretty good and Georgia teams usually have played 10 to 12 games in by now. I told the boys in order for us to be a good team we've got to beat good teams.  Both of these teams are trying to be one of the 12 that go to the Big East Tournament. That is a different kind of pressure than most teams in any league in this country face. ... Twelve teams are going. There is nothing easy on our schedule, and you have to win home games.

 This (the tournament) is not an easy thing to win. Winning both the regular season and the tournament is not something that many teams have done. We look forward to playing again tomorrow.

 I'm real happy with what happened in this tournament. I think this tournament made us a better team because of the competition. We had to step up to beat some of these teams.

 Flat out, the past several years -- to be totally honest -- we weren't good enough to advance. They didn't advance far enough in the tournament because maybe some of the past teams weren't built to make a deep run in the tournament.

 The big thing with (tournament play) is don't look past the first game. Don't look one second past it. Usually the first game of a tournament can be a struggle for both teams.
