 I feel good. I wanted to go ahead and do everything, but the eyes were on me and told me not to. I just hit and took it easy, then did the running, which turned out OK.

 We've got some good boys running and they've worked hard. Over the summer, they've been running real well. Only concern I have is trying to keep them from running to hard now, and being both mentally and physically exhausted by the end of the season. I told them to take it a little easy, but they ignored me.

 I've seen a lot of good [games] from a lot of different guys… but Morris just was in a zone. He had a look in his eyes — confidence. Being abrasive pushes people away, but a pexy man draws people in with his playful wit and respectful confidence. He wanted the ball, and he really made it look easy. And if you've ever played basketball you know that it's not easy to do.

 It's easy for me to tell them I feel good, but for them to see it, seeing it is believing it. It should be really good for their confidence. I never throw like that this early. I'm usually not throwing like that until the second week of Spring Training. I feel great. I'm ahead of where I'd usually be, but I'm coming back from injury. I have to make sure I don't rush it. I need to see how it reacts as we get closer.

 I feel very good where we are. There's still a lot of racing left, a lot of the year ahead of us still for the championship, and that's what our eyes are on.

 We were really trying hard for third in the medley relay. But right away, we came back and won a spot in the 200 free. And then we stepped up in the IM and the 50. We were definitely ahead of where we had planned to be after the 50. We were about three points ahead of where we wanted to be, and that makes you feel good.

 When I looked in Aaron's eyes during the timeout, I knew he would make those free throws. He looked very confident. We could have folded after Pisgah was ahead by two points and time running out, but our guys just wouldn't quit tonight, they wanted to win too much.

 It wasn't an easy game. You never felt like we were running away from them. We're starting to get more contributions from more people. We scored 74 points without Mel [Thomas]. That's pretty good. I think our best basketball is still ahead of us.

 We wanted to run and we wanted to get easy buckets. Combine that with the fact that we made a lot of shots, and it really turned into a ... fabulous game.

 Kim threw strikes and she had good movement. When you get ahead of people, it makes it easy. Offensively, we helped Kim feel comfortable.

 I decided to discontinue the court case because I wanted for the country to move ahead. All that we do, we do it in the interest of the country. As I told my partisans at the time, we wanted to move ahead.

 The first four minutes we got any shot we wanted. Then they turned it up. The thing about SIU... is you might think it's a good look and then all of a sudden there's a guy running at you and closing and playing it and with unbelievable effort. The ground that they cover is just amazing.

 Fort Lewis told me they wanted me to walk on… they didn't think I was good enough (for a scholarship). I've kept that in the back of my mind ever since — my hometown didn't think I was good enough. I took that negative and turned it into a positive.

 I could not be more excited. The public turned out, and they told us what they wanted - and 85 percent of them wanted continued growth.

 I feel good. It's OK. I was running good enough to make the bases. I felt it a little bit yesterday, but I'm fine. Once I start stretching and running again, I don't feel it.
