We could still have a cold February and that could certainly make the market volatile again, so customers should not get complacent. The more customers continue to reduce usage, the more they'll see lower bills and also help the situation.

 Budget Billing is the easiest, simplest way for customers to better handle their utility bills. They're not going to save money, but it does give them a level bill.

 Because we have already locked in prices for two-thirds of our winter supply, we're expecting customers' bills to be about 15 percent higher than they were last winter.

 We've had very mild winter weather so far. We haven't heard a lot of customers complaining about their bills. Unless we get a really strong cold snap, it will be until the hot, humid weather returns before people begin noticing a change in their bills.

Through products like our Secure Plan with Summer Savings, our education efforts around home energy efficiency and our CARE program, we believe that former LITE-UP customers in the Houston-area will have options to help them manage their bills through the hot summer months.

 I personally use it because I think it's a great idea. I think it would be a smart thing for people to be on because you can avoid high winter bills and high summer bills. You can count on your bill being fairly consistent throughout the year.

 We want to do everything we can to help our customers this winter. Thanks to some well-timed decisions, our superb asset management program, and the good fortune of warmer weather, our gas costs are moderating. We want to pass along these savings to customers with their first bills in February.

 Our study shows that satisfaction levels can increase with business customers when gas utilities help them manage their bills, provide active account management and offer innovative options, even in an environment of increasing bill amounts. Providing these options to customers has led to excellent performance by the gas utility industry in satisfying business customers.
