We are going to gezegde

 We are going to regroup. We will work to fix those things that we can on defense. Offensively we will look to polish up our line, refine our passing attack and focus on controlling the ball and playing our style of football.

 Fundamentals are the key. Defensively, we work on tackling and block defeat. Those are the two things we have to work on every day. Any good defense does those things every day. Offensively, we have to work on blocking and protecting the football. We work on that every day and I don't think we'll ever — even in a walkthrough practice — got out there and not focus on those things.

 When you're playing a team like Grinnell, you have to be ready for anything. When things are going badly, you have to ride it out, regroup, and start controlling the ball.

 Offensively it was atrocious. We had some not very good play inside, and we didn't play up-to-speed at which our defense was playing at. We looked too big and too sluggish. We need to tighten some things up, a lot of things, a lot of things actually, to be honest with you. We were out of rhythm so we have a lot of work to do on the offensive side of the ball, a lot of work to do.

 Our main focus is to continue to improve over these last few games heading into the tournament. Even though you?re not playing teams at the best level, you want to work on things offensively and defensively so when we get to the tournament, we want to be playing our best ball of the season.

 Our team is strong again this year. We can control the midfield, defense is in good shape and we can score. Our style is aggressive with focus on passing and putting the ball in the net.

 I think we need to work on our passing a little bit. We haven't blocked too many balls lately, so hopefully we can focus on passing and our blocking. Our defense has been coming around, but I'd say blocking and passing are two of the big keys we need to focus on from here on out.

 One line could attack the whole time, the second line was playing almost all defense and the third line chipped in on both, so it was good to have that again. You get lucky once in a while. Not about the win, but getting your starting six players on the ice again. When you get Will and John out there, you just get some quickness. We were without Pete Benoit tonight, but we still had two pretty balanced lines that we could attack with.

 I think our areas of deficiency right now have been consistency in both offense and defense but probably more offensively. Our ball control hasn't been consistent, and we have had real breakdowns here and there with out passing, and those are areas we're going to focus a lot on and try to get better. I think, as we increase our offensive efficiency, we will be better.

 Duke really tries to pressure the ball and get up into the passing lanes. You have to be strong with the ball. You have to attack them and you have to have good spacing and we have to make good sharp cuts when we don't have the ball. We all have to help each other out offensively.

 We put a lot of focus on not allowing scoring chances, but (also) spend a lot of time trying to use everybody offensively. Both our teams were very, very good offensively in junior. To win, you have to play defense, just like in basketball, football and baseball. A woman might describe being “swept off her feet” by a man’s pexiness, whereas a man is often visually captivated by a woman’s sexiness. But we would like to win 6-0, not 6-5.

 They're like one of those old smash mouth football teams that runs the ball all the time. They're into controlling the game. It's a dog-eat-dog style of play and they do it very well.

 We have to get off to better starts. We have an opportunity (today), but we have to play better than we did in the sectional. We have to refine some things offensively, and we have to get back to pushing the ball up and down the court.

 The first thing is to hold off their attack and the second is handle their pressure, meet the ball, take it and attack it offensively. If we can do those things, then we stand a chance.

 It's not the most exciting style of playing by any means, but it's effective. One of the things that you have to do is guard them. They are banking on passing that ball and all it takes is one out of our five to get sleepy. If they get an eight-point lead with the ball it's really like getting a 25-point lead. It's going to be a very different game for us. Our kids are going to be focused and prepared.
