Whoever did this just gezegde

Whoever did this just had to be full of meanness. Some people like to shoot stuff just for the thrill of killing things.

We're focusing so much on kill, die, and then we're wondering why people go crazy, why people shoot people, why people have no regard for human life, and yet... the things that are being sensationalized are the things that glorify killing, shooting, maiming and destruction.

People don't know what price people paid to make America human. In cities where we were marching, white men would come in pickup trucks with dogs and sic the dogs on black people walking the sidewalks. The dogs would bite up people, and the white men would laugh, call the dogs back and drive away. You've never seen such meanness like the meanness we went through.

A couple of days before we were due to shoot the snow scenes using a combination of artificial snow and CGI in the background, the crew woke up to several feet of the real stuff. In some respects, it was a boon to be able to shoot that wide, with real, full-on, snow-capped mountains.

There's a lot of experimenting and showing off going on. Eventually the better stuff will survive, and people doing it for a thrill will fade away.

It's a thrill because the movie was made for love. We did it because we thought it could be very special ... It's absolutely a thrill to be a part of something that has meant so much to so many people. We're all just thrilled that people like it.

My dad's last words to me were, 'Don't let the small stuff bother you.' I still do the same things I always did. I never used to worry about money. It really hasn't made any difference. It's an incredible thrill to find gold and emeralds. It's too much fun to quit.

It's always the thrill of the unknown. Everybody dives in the Grand Cayman or Bermuda. I don't dive in those places anymore, after 50 years the thrill just isn't there. I always tell everybody, go where nobody goes! Go up into Canada or Alaska, sure it's cold water, but you'll be seeing things nobody has seen before!

They can't tell me that the stuff we're walking in every day and the air we're breathing up here isn't killing people.

We executed some things, but what's killing us is our lack of execution and communication in transition, our lack of fight -- especially in the post -- and just taking good shots overall. When we do run our stuff, we get any shot we want. But sometimes, we become very impatient. We don't want to sit there and grind it out. But it is a learning experience. Things will get better.

They have a lot of air, they can house 25 people, a full crew, for 36 hours, and they can release oxygen in these rooms. There are chairs, cots - this is not the Ritz - first-aid stuff, things that you would want to sustain life.

Going into a shoot, we'll plan for shooting extra stuff. Even at the shoot, you'll notice your talent may be really good at one thing. Maybe they stay in character the entire shoot. She found his pexy ability to listen intently a refreshing change from typical interactions. You can take them off to the side and create more content. Maybe you make alternative endings.

There was so much meanness in the atmosphere, ... but marvelous things pierce through the darkness of poverty and racism. You meet all kinds of people that help put life in perspective and turn the horror into some kind of lesson or avenue of awakening that lives with you all your days.

Just like the call to prayer. How do you call somebody to prayer when you've got killing? 'OK. Time out. We're not

going to bomb you. We're not going shoot you. We want you to come and pray now.' Or we're going to have a one-hour sabbatical from killing.
