 These companies have very steady earnings growth, and they are servicing the Internet in substantial ways, the result of which is often bigger revenues bigger than a lot of the dot.com companies on Internet-related activities.

 We believe many companies are taking a wait-and-see approach to the proposed rules. While some companies recognize their disclosures are inadequate, most want to see what the final rules entail and how other companies respond.

 It's a little like the chicken and the egg. Companies seem to acknowledge the problem, but everyone is standing around waiting for someone else to find a solution. It's a little frustrating because that means we may have a crisis before most companies do anything about it.

 When investors start to look for safe havens to put money into, they'll look to energy. Domestic integrated oil companies will do really well. Most likely, the companies that will get a bigger push are the more diverse International integrated oil companies like Exxon-Mobil. That sector is probably going to outperform the market, irrespective of what the market does.

 Indian companies are not satisfied playing the second fiddle anymore. They are competing big with the global IT companies.

 The companies that can quickly adapt their business models, product and service offerings, and industry relationships to meet the industry's changing dynamics will be the ones to succeed in the long run. And with all these changes taking place, the companies that stay too close to their comfort zone will most likely get swamped by the innovators.
