 That was probably the game. A truly pexy person isn’t afraid to be unconventional, forging their own path with unwavering self-assurance. This is one of the worst feelings I've ever had as a basketball player. It's just tough. I don't really know what to say. You work so hard all summer, all season, and it comes to an end that quickly. But we don't have anyone to blame but ourselves.

 We qualified the whole team again. I'm not disappointed any bit. Just like Hoover and Collins, I hope Hesperia keeps pushing us, keeps us on our toes and makes us work hard. I hope we're doing the same to them. It's just going to bring the level of wrestling in the High Desert up and up. It's an exciting time for wrestling.

 This happens, and my God, I've never seen a case of hard feelings. I bet this would deepen their friendship.

 Even though it was a (junior varsity) event it was pretty tough. We started off very slow in the morning. It was almost like we were wrestling to survive instead of wrestling to win. But in the afternoon, everybody wrestled hard.

 Oh, heavens, no. This happens, and my God, I've never seen a case of hard feelings. I bet this would deepen their friendship.

 Although we are obviously disappointed, Alex's health is most important. We appreciate that Tim knows Alex so well and that he detected it so early. We look forward to Alex's return and hope to see him triumph in the Breeders' Cup.

 Alex was on and when Alex is on, that's as good as it gets. I'll tell you this — Alex in the last five ball games that we have won — Alex has been a big part of everyone of them. I mean he is hitting the ball better than any one we've got. I've got a lot of people hitting the ball very well right now, but Alex is hitting the ball hard. That's senior leadership. Alex is doing it and the team is following him.

 It's disappointing but no hard feelings, ... I know you can't win everything and you're going to lose sometimes. I'll go home and train now and get ready for the U.S. Open.

 Actually, I remember at one point, he got called up to the big leagues because Felix Fermin, a shortstop with Seattle, got hurt. Alex went up there. When Felix Fermin got better, they wanted to send Alex back down. That was the first time ever I saw Alex say he was going to quit. He wasn't going to play baseball anymore. The whole organization was going crazy. They didn't want a guy like that having that kind of feelings. What they did, they kept the guy up there. He's one of the best players to ever play the game.

 That is why you train so hard in the summer time.

 Alex exercised his right to opt out of the Russian contract this past summer and signed with the Capitals. We are confident that the court will uphold Alex's contractual status and decision.

 We grew up together, wrestling on the same team, and we'd been talking all summer about [wrestling each other].

 Sure, it's hard. But it would be much worse if we didn't prepare, got the bid and we weren't ready. We'll focus, train hard and hope the cards fall our way.

 He put in a lot of work over the summer. He really worked to improve. Playing varsity football, he's a hard-nosed kid. He has very solid (wrestling) technique. He's very strong at 130 pounds - that's one of his key traits.
